We got no threads on this yet? http://www.************/group.php?gid=2228594104&ref=mf Alot of people seem to think the idea is that buying Rage is some sort of stand against 'the man'...though with Rage being under the label Epic who is owned by Sony...thats obviously not going to work. I think the general idea is simply to stop Xfactor getting more karaoke singers in the number 1. I'm not going to claim to be the worlds biggest rage against the machine fan but if its xfacactor or this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fkuOAY-S6OY I'll invest the 79p for a download next week.
wow your in every thread with a sad panda attitude everywhere you go, must have a nice view from the top of your tower >.>
Sure sony will make some money from this but it's worth it if we can actually get killing the name to be christmas no. 1. It would be hilarious.
It IS all about stopping another crappy XFactor song from reaching number 1, the F.B site already has over 790,000 members so buy one for yourself, and a few more for you mum dad and grandparents even your friends
Ahoy Peeps http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment/8415750.stm Just Do It, Do It, Do It! One Love! EDIT: Thanks for the thread BubT
Why would anyone download major label music legally? I mean, buying one thing, to make the sales of another thing look less impressive, how fucking consumerist can you get? Would the newest Black Eyed Peas song top iTunes for weeks, if all the smart people didn't download, anyway? Why's it even matter? Just don't listen to it. I mean, I hate shit as much as the next person, and would like to torture most of the mainstream, but.. Haha =D I think I bought an X-factor once in the late 90s. I don't know it was some X-men spin off, and I was really annoyed by this dude that breathed fire all the time..
The original Facebook group also already raised over £35k for the charity 'Shelter', but I mean if you don't agree with it you don't have to buy it....
Exactly, tell it like it is. Also, it’s when peeps put too much sceptical thought into every single detail of a rebellious action that it never takes off the ground … and besides, who knows what kind of radical action can come from simple collectively, if the movement can’t stand together and KO an X Factor clone, what chance is there of a Revolution going down. Come on, 79p … Just Do It Brothers and Sisters, who gives a damn about Sony, it’s worth it to achieve some unity. Here is some more inspiration, the Woodstock ’99 show when the US flag got burnt at the end of ‘Killing In The Name’ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aix4XQzHfYU&feature=PlayList&p=0E4C5593AF237F15&index=33# One Love!
I bought it last night. Oddly, Amazon are selling the MP3 for a mere 29p, as apposed to the 79p it should be surely? Maybe there are trying to tell us something. And yeah, although Cowell makes money from it anyway, i think it's a good thing. It proving the monopoly can be stopped. It's a personal triumph, Simon Cowell makes money from nearly every act in the top 10 act the moment (count how many are affiliated with this season of the X Factor). He called it 'silly an cynical'. yet I find him a hypocrite. What's silly is telling the public we are spoiling Joe McElderry's chances, when in tern he is spoiling hundreds of other acts chances of getting the converted top spot just because he is 'expected to'. And it's certainly cynical to believe that everybody should just let this happen. It's only the charts but I am fed up of the X Factor to be honest.
