What up everybody. I am wondering what people think of how I am doing as far as my opiate use. I started using opiates about almost three years Ago. I first tried vikes and then it went to percs then oxys. I was weird about using, when i would use i only did it at night. That way I could go to sleep before my high came down. Well that's how it was as the years progressed, even when I started using everyday, I would get my oxy and wait till around seven to do it. I never used multiple times a day. Well now three years later from when I first tried opiates I am using everyday once a day 80mg of oxy. by the way I have never iv'ed it, I only rail it. So with that being said, I wanna know what people think as far as my opiate use? Am I at a decent stage in my opiate use being that I've been on oxy for three years? where are other people atas far as there opiate use?

Well, expect to withdraw if you miss a day without it. However, there are rare cases where people don't withdraw from excessive use of opiates. But I say get off the train and do it once in a while.

I did opiates like ~4 years ago, maybe a few times a month during the first year, and then a couple times a week the year after that. The past couple years I've slowed down to maybe doing it a couple times a year.

The first opiate I tried was oxycodone in roxi form. Then I eventually graduated to heroin and then I started liking it too much so I stopped for the most part. Kinda wanna get some soon, haven't done any heroin since like may.

You sound like you have quite a bit of self control, but NEVER, and i must emphasize this greatly, underestimate the addictive properties of any opiate. Do you feel sick in the morning when you get up or before youve taken your 80mgs? You will most likely withdrawl if you stop using, but Im surprised that you dont feel like shit when you wake up without opiates You sound responsible with you use, but with very high high potential and full blown addiction. Im responding to this thread in depth because i was in your shoes exactly about a year back, with responsible and controlled oxy use, and i really would love to prevent anything bad from happening to you by sharing my experience with you, and everyone. Once i had been used oxy for a while, it wasnt quite the awesome euphoria, so i tried H. And i just did it every once in a while, and was responsible with that too. Then i stumbled upon a couple hundred dollars and before i knew it i would buy a sack everyday and get high and thought, the more times i can get high the funner my day will be and it will enhance everything. I though that i would stop soon, but that never really happened. Now its been almost a year, and ive spent every last penny, and i work full time, on H. Im a slave to it, i get sick as a dog if i dont smoke within minutes of being awake in the morning. I barely even get high anymore and i cant do anything without worrying if i'll have enough dope or if im gona get sick. Please dont rule out the possibility that you might start using much more frequently or might graduate to a stronger opiate, whatever it may be. I recomend the only way to save yourself now is to stop using daily, give it at least a day gap in between using, and try to even go sober for a little bit. If you do this, then you can enjoy opiates responsibly and get really high every couple days and have plenty of $ and not be a slave to the drug. Just make sure the drug isnt what you spend the majority of your time thinking about, and make sure it doesnt affect school, work, or your relationships. Good luck, and let me know if you have anymore questions.

I think things are going fairly well. On pace to die in about 5-10 years.

I actually think 3 years is kinda quick to have become a solid daily user. A lot of people (most?) seem to just do it every once in a while for much longer. I remember that about three or four years after I started I swallowed ONE oxy 20 and had to try not to puke. (Of course, within a few years, I would inject more than one 80 at a sitting.) Then, I was "at a decent stage": a few pills once every few weeks or months.

Agreed: better to only use at night. Using in the morning/early day seems more habit forming IMO.

But daily use of 80mg snorted means your dependent, or heading that way very fast. You don't want to do what you're doing more than once or twice a week, unless your new goal is to be hard-core.

So I'd say: not doing that well. Unless you mean, "How hard-core have I become?" If that's the goal, then: not very well, either. You need to kick in jail at least once (or better, find a way to score in jail). Then you'll be doing great.

Thats not bad at all. After that long of using daily most would probably be using that amount several times a day. You may not have the addictive personality.
