Without even asking first, they decided to edit out the loose hairs on my dreads. They also appear to have made my skin a bit darker than it was on the preview-photos. Interesting.
The previews you get are just rough guides to what you'd be paying for....so you can see that your looking at the camera or what ever.... They then 'touch up' the picture to make it look 'nicer', balance the colours and lighting to make it look professional as your paying for it... ....they don't however make the preview look as nice because you don't pay for that, and people don't work for free, thats how they work here anyway.
I remember mine had the choice. You pay a little more for them to touch up the photo or a little less for them to basically leave it them same.
i think it's really creepy that they touch up kids school photos. not meaning to be patronising calling you a kid.
and heres me thinking it was just some bloke who has spent a grand on billy basic photograph equipment trying to guilt parents into buying hillariously over priced prints.
school pictures? you mean like yearly photos or like senior pictures? i've never had anyone touch mine up, unfortunately... i looked like shit in all of them! also, maybe it's just the prints... i don't know, sometimes when i take photos and print them somewhere they end up darker.
