a lot of people say they have scary dreams, some say they only have good dreams, and some say they dont even dream. i had a very, very painfuly scary dream and wanted to see how many people also had a really messed up dream, if you want describe the dream. thanks :cheers2:
my dreams are as diverse as the infinite universes that surround us. not overly hostile or anything like that. they're certainly not scary, though they can be at times 'epiphinal' or 'numinous'. they're seldom about individual real life persons. i would say almost never. but they are about what my mind intrests itself in focusing on. environments with odd interesting architecture, transportation, and the dominance of nature's own diversity as well. there are cities occasionally but as often high mountain medows surrounded by forest. transportation technology often plays a roll in them. the enjoyment of riding on and in it. i think the kinds of things we're interested in focusing on when we're awake has a lot to do with both the kinds of settings and the kinds of things that go on in them.
Dreamz really do complicate my life! Ive changed so much on a dream and glad I did... They still will govern a day of thought-good or bad its like another life being lived out elsewhere! Do they mean something yes, if your having bad scary dreamz, something needs to change. Keep hold of your dreamz and listen to what they say, it can help you go along away!
i've never understood why so many people dream about people, and especially people they know. my own are nothing like that. maybe one in ten do other people/beings appear in them at all. maybe one in a hundred are anyone who even resembles anyone i MIGHT know. they DO tend to be about things i'm interested in. places, bits of countryside, things people have built, trains, buses, elevators that run on tracks that don't just go up and down. of course these are the kinds of things i try to make pictures of too, so i'm never quite certain as to which is the cause and which the effect of the other. i've been to alien worlds in them, even taken classes in colleges on alien worlds and learned the bus and transit systems in cities and regeons that are very much not the way the geography where i live is layed out. and some of these places in this dream world have totally consistent geography. meaning the bus routes i learn in one dream, still go to the same places in the next one. and where towns and streets and places are on the maps in them remain consistent as well. well there's nothing particularly scary in any of this, and if anything i tend to feel much calmer, more relaxed, and self assured in them, like there's far less to worry about, then ever i do when i'm awake. another feature of them is very seldom are there ever locked doors, keep out signs, fences, or all of that which goes with private ownership of the land, most but not all there is nothing resembling money or the need for it either. and clearly there are no laws about what kind of house you have to live in nor even that you have to at all they don't seem utopian though, but just perfectly ordinary every day to me when i'm in them. there's nothing "fuzzy" about them. just how life would be if people didn't feel like they have to fuck things up for each other.
