the reason i'm asking this is because illnesses like this really fascinate me, the idea that a person can be "normal" (by normal i just mean, considered sane) and then develop something so powerful and complex.

i'm just wondering if you had any "strange" experiences before you were diagnosed... like, brief periods where your reality shifted, or moments of feeling very strange sensations or anything like that. i know these disorders usually develop in adolescence or early adulthood, but do you remember any strangeness from very early on in your life?

sorry if my question isn't entirely clear... just let me know if i need to clarify something.

yeah I do recall when I was real young I would hallucinate spiders coming after me in the dark. then one time I either hallucinated or really did see a ghost open my door when I woke up one night. this may have just been sleep paralysis though, but I never slept with my door open and when I woke up it was open. aside from that and childhood stress/anger and being a bit shy, it didn't hit me til I started taking psychedelics regularly.

I experience schizophrenic episodes when I'm stoned and by myself, or in a quiet space sometimes.

Very early on in my life, about 2 or 3 years old.
I remember vividly hallucinating (or maybe actually seeing?) a glowing blue figure of a man creep through my window, enter my room. I ran screaming from the room into my parents room and slept there. Beneath the crack in the door I could see a blue glow pacing back and forth.
