yeah that does make sense, thanks for clarifying. it's just that a lot of people on here seem to think it's their responsilbility to come and interrupt and pretty much ruin evrey thread written about DXM by starting the whole "it's not a real drug" thing... it's pretty much impossible to have a discussion without someone saying that and then the thread just gets hijacked. anyway, i have done DXM... and to be honest, i'd reccomend anyone who's into trying drugs to do DXM... you might love it you mighty hate it, but honestly it's pretty legit. just try to get past the "image", because you're right, it's most definitely there. anyway.... :cheers2:
awesome, i appreciate this post man.. instead of attacking me for my original statements you listened to my clarification and responded with an intelligent post and respect... props to you for that! really, i dont care about image, or what people think about me, or what drugs i do or do not take... thats not me, and i dont live my life like that... what i meant was that the image that is portrayed to the ignorant masses when people take OTC drugs, is that these people are "druggies" and looking for any way they can find to escape their reality .. i certainly know this is far from the truth (you're a perfect example of that), but when a lot of people see or hear about people doing stuff like this.. they tend to formulate a negative attitude toward all drug use. i dont do something, or choose to not do it because of what anybody else thinks of me... but its just unfair that people see stuff like this and think that all drugs are bad because this is where it leads.. when in reality, the people taking this could actually be well informed about it, safe, and in search of something deeper than just getting another high... and i think you're a good example of one of those people. but hey, people will think what they think... i just hope that anyone who decides to do this, genuinely does it for the right reasons... not to just lose themselves with whatever substance is readily available. i honestly didnt mean to hijack the thread, nor did i feel like i had to pop in and preach about how dxm isn't a real drug.. its just that when i see somebody who is constantly endorsing OTC ways to get high.. it just makes me wonder whether or not they are doing so because they just want to get fucked up and escape everything.. its people like that who are bringing a lot of bad stereotypes and prejudices against all people who use drugs.. and that certainly isnt helping speed up any form of legalization/decriminalization. but like i said cherokeemist, i dont lump you into that category at all... i know you, and a ton of people that post on here are actually the opposite of that and just have an appreciation of chemicals as tools for human growth.. not as a way to remove themselves from reality just because they dont like the way things are going for them.. i dont plan on trying it (hey, i could very well be missing out), but thats just my preference.. id have to do research on the effects and such, but taking a ton of pills, or drinking cough syrup is just not my thing... besides it would probably make me throw up. +rep for a respectful and responsible answer to my... questionable original post
Hello, Ive dropped acid. I have a trip report in the acid section, And i still choose to do an OTC Drug. (Just saying) Also, DxM is a very fun drug. Ive done Only a few things (In my sig) and i love dxm still. Just because its OTC doesnt make it any different from a "Real Drug" This one has been approved by the FDA and is accessible to us. I'd rather do this legal drug and have a great time, instead of trying to find an Illegal drug and get caught for it. Thats just me though. Anyways, We all do what we want, its our bodies. Lets all party party party and get wasted! Keep on Drugging it up, Fuck the haters!
