so i know lincoln park is supposed to be for rich people...

but i live here with my loverman. and i crochet hats in my apartment. and we're broke. it's actually not so bad. but it's true that it's more enjoyable when you have money, and there are too many shit shops around here.

still, the train is quite close, and the buses... i'm going downtown today to make hats in millenium park and read and try to convince my boyfriend to play his guitar...

so it isn't so bad!

born and raised in Lincoln park. loved every second of it. my family wasn't to rich, but we were well enough off. you know that huge thing that depaul built, like with the sub shop and game stop? there used to be a huge old vocational school there, and we lived right across the street. 2348 N Lakewood. me and some friends, depending on weather or not i get into depaul are going to buy a house in that neighborhood.

 

Depaul is a nice college i go to columbia

 

i live in lp right now and its super yuppy but i go to depaul and i have a upass so if i need to head somewhere else its like right at my fingertips..i live in a super small apt and its still like killing my wallet.

 

I'm in the area too. I've been here about 4 or 5 years and actually really enjoy it.
