Yeah, I saw the teaser movie posters over the summer. It is going to be good I will bet. I have always loved the theme of the looking glass. In a weird way it's one of my favorite stories. One of the only things I have ever considered getting as a tattoo. However, I am torn between the white rabbit and the hookah smoking caterpillar. I kind of want to have a really cool piture but not the original wood cuts or the Disney Movie. I have yet to find the right one.
I saw the trailer and it looked mediocre. I hope I am wrong. I still love this scene from the Disney version.
I'm hoping that it doesn't turn out as cartoonie as Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Johnny Depp is a great actor but I didn't agree with that role or the movie much less... it turned into a butchered classic in my opinion. I have a lot more hope for the Alice in Wonderland movie though! Not to mention Tim Burton is fantastic!!!
Tim burton ruins remakes, he's only good when doing new stuff even though burton is fucked up, he wont do Alice justice, and i guarantee his "attempt" at fucked up wont even be as fucked as the Disney version.
ill see it, but im getting kind of bored with the tim burton/ johnny depp match up. over and over. and over. i mean they are good movies, but sheesh. give a few new actors a shot. i think tim burton dreams of johnny depp.
