I breast fed my son till he was 1, then I put him on follow on milk. Now he is 16 mths old I've tried to get him off the baby milk by giving him cow's and goat's milk but he's not havin it at all, any suggestions?
A top day to you all

He doesn't need ANY milk from an animal at all! Only humans (and a few domesticated animals) drink other mammal's milk.

Soy milk, or rice milk, with protein and calcium and Vit D is a good alternative. My kids (all 4 of them) NEVER drink cow's milk. (They were all breastfed WELL into toddlerhood!) None of them have ever broken a bone, either. Soy Silk is really good, and it has a good nutritional profile. Don't stress if he doesn't want to drink "milk" if he weaned natrually he doesn't need milk anymore.

    Hello,
I would have liked to have B fed longer than a year but he was a little biter!! He does have a trainer cup, I think I'll try the soy milk as he does like to have a drink before bed it helps him nod off,a nd thatnks for the tip about the smoothies I'll try that 2!
Thanks for advice ladies and have a good day!
    Best wishes

My daughter weaned herself just 1 day shy of her first birthday, lol. It was almost a week before she would take more than a sip of (cow's) milk, but after she realized i wasn't going to pump for her, she decided she actually liked it. I think that's pretty normal; they're just getting into the "i'm a toddler, and i don't like that!" stage, haha. They eventually decide they like everything, at one point or another.
