Currently I am paying 300 dollars for my oc prescription, I am wondering if anybody has some tips for me on trying to get them for cheaper. A cheap pharmacy or a prescription help program: if u have any ideas let me know. Btw my script is 90 20mg ocs a month.
insurance man, they know you need those meds so u either pay for insurance get medicare or something or u pay out the ass.....my experience with suboxone anyways
I have no idea in regards to prescription plans/coverage in the U.S. The one thing i can think of is to switch to a generic brand of pill. Although im not sure if OC has a generic counterpart, your doc might be able to find something that provides the same effective pain relief, but also offers a generic brand. Unfortunately if you do switch to a generic pill, almost all of the time the quality is lower. But if its gonna save you much needed money, than its a no brainer!!
Right now I'm paying 330 for my prescription and it sucks, I heard costco has good deals for brand medication
the only good generic oc I've had were the abg 40's, all the rest of them sucked but I didn't use them for pain and they were very hard/not worth it to abuse just gel up if you tried whether you snorted them or were gettin ready to play darts, I even ate one and felt nothing so Idk.
btw, with insurance my subs were 75$ copay 25$ copay for the visit so basically 100$ and 35$ in gas, so we'll round it off at 150$, now that I don't have insurance my visit is 160$ and the prescription is 660$ so after gas that's about 900$ a pop a month......obviously I am no longer on suboxone, but I feel your pain bro. good luck, also try and find a clinic that are good to those without insurance they are out there, I'm going to one for my anxiety and it's gonna cost me a whopping 36$ for the dr. visit and the therapist evaluation.....I'm gonna be pissed if I don't get my script, but I actually have anxiety so shouldn't be a problem.
Most cities of reasonable size will have free clinics, supported by churches or other charities. I know of one where I live, plus a better one in Terre Haute, 50 miles away, supported by a Catholic church. Eligibility is income-based, and includes visits and prescriptions. Even dental. I don't know if a clinic like this will pay $300 for a prescription though. Now, generic OC's are Oxycodone. I saw a listing for $91 for 100 Oxy 20mg's on one site, but they didn't list any pharmacies. You could also check out Medicaid, which is also income-based.
Go to Free prescription drugs in google. Hit one of the prescription discounts and type your name and e-mail.. then print out your new prescription discount card. take it to Costco, because its cheaper to fill there.and give them your card and get about 100 bucks knocked off.. I've been using one for 3 years. My monthly oxy script was 224 and with the card I paid 136 to fill them.. Good ;uck and let us know how much you saved.. My Norcos use to be 86 bucks for 100 of them and with the card I paid 24 bucks So its worth it..
yeah thats the kinda real info people need----------so to the op--is it against your morality to sell some of your pills? thats how pretty much everyone i ever knew hadda do it----little old ladies young bucks-----woulda never had so many pills if prices werent soo high--------
Oxyrisin can u give me a direct url cuz I've printed out a few. Of those from different websites and the most one of them saved was 14 bucks. I would like to know which one saved you that much on oxycontin. Thanks dawg let me know. By the way it is incredibly hard to find a pharmacy that still has the generic oc. Plus those ones fucking suck for railing.
I know what you mean. I used to get generic Dilaudid from my hook up, and when you would bust them up to sniff, they were all sticky and inconsistent.
