uh.. everyone can also stop judging, AGAIN if you have nothing nice to say dont say anything at all i mean it please stop, just comment if you like it
You are mistaking "judging" for "trolling" We just be a trollin' When you post something... anything, you need to expect all sorts of reactions. Bad or good.
buddy...why post something like this twice....did you think a whole bunch of different people would like it the second time? it sucks
Of course^^, and still wondering why the Politic forums have gone to shit. Kinda makes the "off topic, first warning" meaningless, right? "Discuss America's Wars on Terrorism and Iraq and it's Effects on Civil Liberties. Thank you for supporting OUR right to free speech without being attacked for our views. This forum is for members only!"
the truth is though, there are far more neighborhoods on this planet that i might get beat up or killed in just for being a white guy. in reality white males are the targets for more hatred than any other demagraphic. (and its not because we are racist, only that we are believed to be)
And the truth is there are far more neighborhoods you are likely to be profiled by both police and citizens by being there and being black.
We've been celabrating being white since the beginning of time, by having all the freedoms and rights owed to us. Black people in the United State and United Kingdom only gained the rights to be treat at equal in the last 50 years. I'm fairly sure that's worth celabrating. In the exact same way I fully support woman still pride marching for womans rights.
Well I am just a human. I don't care what color your skin or anything else is. The only people or animals I have a problem with are those that seek to dominate others either through agression, protection or just plain sniveling.
I'm not in the least bit racist or prejudice toward any culture, religion, sex, etc...but I grew up in a 99.9% white town and can see both sides of the argument. In my hometown, anyone not white would definitely catch a lot of attention and likely be profiled by police, citizens...ect, but I have learned since I moved to the city that it's not pleasant to be caught white in some neighborhoods either. I'd chalk it up as an ignorance in both instances and a lack of understanding...you fear what you don't understand or whatever... I can understand the OP though. The black community has come a LONG way in this country and that should be celebrated, but sometimes it seems to be a bit over-dramatized with all the opression and struggle talk. It's in the past and what's done is done. Mainstream society has clearly moved on. I mean, the black population is obviously very well represented in society despite being a minority population (media, art, music, sports, movies, TV...etc). The president is black for fucksake. But nevertheless, there are far too many sectors of society (especially white ones) still unaccepting of other cultures or downright racist. It just boils down to ignorance in my opinion.
They have the right to have those associations. It has never been a struggle for men to be sucessful and prosper on this earth because their skin is white. Alot of those associations are 'black only' because they focus on black ancestry which by the way includes inslavement.
I don't think anyone should be calling anyone names. You shouldn't be called "honkey" for being white and you shouldn't call people "******" for being black, pretty simple. As far as the whole argument "they call eachother "******" why can't I?" all i have to say is, what i let my friends call me isn't the same as what I tolerate other people calling me, people can differentiate if they want. Just don't go around saying "I'm not racist ******!".
