hey gang, i recently started playing the guitar and fugured id like to write a song to sing a long with, and i would like your opinion on the lyrics. be harsh, be helpful, be happy, whatever ya think of them let me know. Sometimes it seems like nothing has changed sometimes it feels like its all the same "Oh look how far, how far we've come" and yet we're still bombin for whats above Oh wont you tell me, oh what's its worth? oh won't you help me, to lift this curse x2 Sometimes it feels like nothing has changed in this new dage & in this new age Museveni says, it is a crime and if found guilty your doin hard time then the chorus again i know i havent got much, but hey its a start, and if anyone is unclear on the Museveni bit, he is the president of Uganda, and is trying to pass a law that if you are found to be homosexual, you get a life sentance, if you know someone is gay and dont report in 24 hours, you get 3 years and if you defend gay rights, you get 7 years. just a little background thanks for takin a look :cheers2: Riley
its not bad for your first one. I always like the songs that you really dont know what they are saying and you have to figure your own meaning. But i think its the actual melody that makes the song badass.
