We celebrated thanksgiving last night...feasted on tofurkey and danced around like Indians. Yep it wasnt much different than any other wednesday night in our house. =]
hey mandy! that looks like a pretty good time. i hope you're having a nice thanksgiving. i like your husbands arm tattoos... i was wondering if you could get a picture of the patterns on his right arm. im really digging that style and i'm about to invest in some ink. so please please please, give me a picture of that for thanksgiving.
Your dreads have hella shrunk!! Your fam is sooooo cute and your man looks slightly embarrased by his hat!

Love The Pic Of The Two Of You Hugging, Your Household Looks Like A Crazy Fun Filled Place To Live...... Cheers Glen.
your thanksgiving looks like fun! tomorrow will be my first thanksgiving and i'm.... spending it home alone. my fambo are going to my dad's brother's wife's step-dad's partner's house for dinner with the partner's kids and grandkids. um, random? please explain tofurkey to me. is it actually tofu or does it have some texture or taste? is it in the shape of a turkey? i think i've said it here before: i'm fascinated to try it, but also slightly horrified by the idea. what does it taste like? i've never actually eaten turkey before so have no basis for comparison there. but i eat veggie chicken and i used to eat chicken. anything like those?
oh, your dreadlocks look great by the way! lots of character. mine are so bleh right now. they're a very unflattering length and are just beginning that loooong period of looking pretty crap all the time while they sort themselves out and lock up.
You and your family look so adorable! And your house looks cozycomfortable! I really like how your hair's maturing, they are really coming together and looking awesome!
Love your dreads!! There looking great!!! I reccently moved back home ( SADLY) Hahaha ... and as I was going threw this thread my mom saw the pics and she was like " shes adorable" LOLZ!!! Keep up the great work!!!
Your hair is looking great Mandy and I love the pics of you and the fam. So nice!! I'm afraid I'm going to snaek into your house to steal your pants. I realize you are about 6 inches taller than me, but that is ok> I will have my sister shorten them for me and then you will not recognize them because they are smaller and I will keep them and love them forever. And look great in them because they are damn foxy!!! Sleep with one eye open....
Tofurkey is actually quite good. Tofurkey is the original brand name. I think now there are other tofu turkey brands out there but Ive only ever made the tofurkey brand. It's not turkey shaped. Its a ball of super uber firm tofu and its stuffed with stuffing. I always follow the recipe on the box. You just glaze the turkey with an olive oil/soy sauce/sage concoction and bake it for about an hour and a half with veggies. It comes with a mushroom gravy that is pretty decent. The texture of it is like other soy based meat alternatives but not as chewy. It actually has a pretty similiar texture to turkey. I would reccomend trying it. Roast it with carrots, potatoes, celery and onions. I think you'll like it. Its not as scarry as it sounds. =]
