    Hello everyone!

I would like to join a book club some day soon. I am not particularly smart but i do love reading good books and i love that feeling of intellectual revelation (like when you figure out what the author is saying to you through plots and sub-plots etc etc). This makes me want to burst out and tell the world what i read but not many of my friends want to hear!

So how do you go about joining one? Are there many around in london, specifically north london? Websites?

    thanks in advance

If you live in north London then you have about 30+ public libraries at your disposal. I recommend you go to Swiss Cottage and join the library there, instead of a book club. When I lived in the UK, I done most of my reading there. It's a massive library with a rateable psychology section, which contains some rare tomes by Freud and Jeung. The house where Freud lived his final years is a little further down and is now a museum. If you ask at the library they'll give you directions. Also, start reading Aristotle. His philosophy might seem heavy to begin with, but if you like 'intellectual revelation' you will discover a treasure like no other in his pages. If you live in the Borough of Camden, there's about 10 libraries or so you can join and use the internet, etc. Oh, and if you do go there, tell them to order the book I wrote.:) And give them my love.
