So I smashed my pipe after three whole years while carrying it in my backpack earlier and happened to notice the loads of resin in there. Never being one to waste, I figured yay I could smoke it but there's a bunch of glass shards/bits in it. Smoking it out of another pipe is a nono obviously, but just shove it in a bong and let 'er rip, right? Not afraid of it melting but just getting crap stuck in my throat.
Any water pipe would work to filter shards and such...but for the love of god you need to plan ahead so it doesn't get to that desperate of an attempt. A bud smoker is a carefree smoker.
Just rip it in a bong, but pick out what you can. Resin isn't that bad. Now compared to some plump, juicy, bud, it is lackluster to say the least, but our friend wishes to get high. I understand
resin is sick, but desperate times call for desperate measures i suppose. i dont think i could ever deliberately smash my piece though. it would kill me to put down my little glass baby.
crap'll only get stuck in your throat if ya got a pipe. you can try to melt the resin maybe and pick shards out. i'd put some extra water in the bong Justin Case.
I would assume that the resin just has more tar content, and if you are smoking weed, you probably already accept it has tar, so why not eh?
Id load a small rip if I were you, a whole bong load of resin might fuck you up.. like the others said
