I've been posting these in the scientology section but no one goes there. So lets see if I can find some interested people in this section.

We are almost a full decade into the 21st century and this corrupt organization still violates labor laws that cross the line into slavery as spelled out in the 13th Amendment.

    free will

    1. free and independent choice; voluntary decision: You took on the responsibility of your own free will. 2. Philosophy. the doctrine that the conduct of human beings expresses personal choice and is not simply determined by physical or divine forces.

Those people are told that if they don't tow the line they will lose their eternity. They are told that they will come back in their next life as a "cripple" or street urchin in Bangladesh, and they are so brainwashed they believe it. There is nothing free about it.

It says right in those federal laws that you can't use threats or beatings to force people to work for free and yet that is what they are doing every day and hardly anyone cares. And that makes me sad.

    It IS slavery.

Charlatans and dumb-asses=an ever popular combination. It's a win-win deal. The charlatans get to exercise power over the dumb-asses with the plus of an opportunity to fleece them of their belongings and cash and the dumb-asses get to be led around like sheep and be told what to do.Seems to please any two groups with such an agreement.Looks about right to me.

You still have a responsibility for your own welfare. If you let someone fuck with you like that, that's your own fault. It might sound harsh, but none of these people were born Scientologists -- they picked it up later, and if they had used their heads a bit more, they would have seen through it.

A friend of mine got kicked out of scientology because she wouldn't stop doing numerology and they weren't happy with another belief system intruding on their indoctrination.Ahhh--she didn't have any possesions anyway.

I wasn't very happy as a teen and when I saw those volcano commercials, something about it seemed interesting to me. I asked my father what he knew about this Dianetics thing and he spun around and said, "You stay the fuck away from those people! That is a UFO cult!" I was usually mad at him, all the time, back then but I knew that he knew a lot of things about a lot of things, so I never picked up that book.

He's gone now and I have no idea how he knew that dianetics/scientology was really a UFO cult. I'd like to think that he would be proud of me for what I have been doing for the last few years.

I'd like to let the hipforums community know about this petition

    http://www.gopetition.com.au/online/32251.html

Note that we understand this may go up for a vote MONDAY Aussie time, so the timeframe is short. The Senator has specifically supported the petition call, and that it should be global and not just limited to Australians. If you feel inclined to spread the word, that'd be cool.

To better understand why the issue with Scientology is not the creed, but its duplicitous and criminal nature, that at it's core has no real adherance to the creed it sells to the 'raw public' (or even lower level staff) the recent video interview by Australian ex senior SeaOrg member Aaron Saxton are very informative.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AqzT8ZOD6mc (7 parts)

    Cheers hippes.

Quite frankly I can not see what harm this church does – compared with other violent cults such as Islam Scientology seems harmless enough to me!
I have never seen a scientologist strapped up with explosives or forcing change and accommodation to law have you?

I mean you would not compare Tom Cruise to some nutter in a Burqa would you?
You wouldn’t compare John Travolta to the 7/7 bombers would you?

Germany does not recognise Scientology as a religion and regard it as a ‘cult’ masquerading as a church to make money.

I hardly think Hubbard’s plan was for world domination when he set out his sci-fi church do you?

You've gobbled down the media's demonization of Islam like a fat kid eating chocolate cake.

You're committing a logical fallacy. Yes, some people become suicide bombers, and many of them are Muslim. Does this mean that all Muslims are violent, or that Islam is a violent religion?

    Hell no.

Isreal is a Jewish nation. They terrorize the surrounding Muslim countries regularly. They drop experimental weapons on the Palestinians for no real reason other than the fact that nobody will stop them. In short, Israel is one fucked up disgusting country.

Does it follow that Judaism is a violent religion? That all Jews tend to be violent?

    Nope.

How about Christianity? That religion has killed more people than I like to think about. I won't go into detail because I assume you've been educated about this topic at some point. If you haven't, something is very wrong.

Does all the death and suffering caused by long-dead proponents of Christianity prove that the teachings of Christianity are violent?

Do some fucking research before you spew ignorant crap like this. I assure you that the Muslim religious texts are no more violent than the Jewish ones, probably less so.

Islam was revolutionary for its time because of the rights it gave to women which they did not have before. Islam is now protrayed as a religion that steals any and all rights and independence women would otherwise have. It IS true that there are muslims who subjugate women. However this is the work of the people are are subjugating them! The religion itself never actually calls for this to anywhere near the degree that the media is implying that it does.

The same goes for the fact that there are some crazy assholes that are muslims and will kill a bunch of people in a suicide bombing. The religion never called for any of this, but these fanatics (who are a tiny minority, as a matter of fact) have turned the religion on its head.

Its the same way that a lot of conservative christians enthusiastically supported the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan even though their religion directs that they should never kill or support the killing of other human beings in any way.

If you're in school, would you please please PLEASE take a class on Islam?

I presume you are a Muslim if not I regard you as their conquered mouthpiece (A Dhimmie) - first let me explain something!
I have read the Koran and 3 Hadiths - I have studied Islam very intensly - this in place let us move on!

Do you understand how debate works? You know western civilised debate? Not ‘I will chop your head off if you don’t shut your pie hole Muslim debate’– Now that is what I call aggressive and by the way which the Koran incites you ‘ignorant 7th century throwbacks’ to do!

How many are in hiding for simply telling the truth to you muppets – how many have you killed threatened or maimed for simply saying the truth about your cult?

Only the other day Christians like me were burned alive in their homes in Pakistan – by ‘your type’– their crime? They said something (Allegedly about the Koran)!

Call me aggressive if you want – but I believe in law change to stop you scumbags and your instruction manual of hate – the Koran!
And it is coming – the worm is turning your sexism/rape and genocide manual will be banned – people will learn that 1.4 billion people follow the teachings of a man who married a 6 year old and ‘consummated that marriage’ when she was 9 years old! Murdered and raped his way across the middle east! Killed countless Christians and Jews just for fun! Several hundred in one day by beheading!

Now when you are ready Sherlock – inform us what exactly what ‘I’ have wrong about you primitive screw heads and why the Koran and Hadiths should not be banned!

    Scientology has done absolutely nothing!

As for saying Christians and Jews have killed countless - why not bring up the Crusades? Explain How Hitler was a Christian? LOL

Go on give me a good laugh son!

Oh. I get it. You're here to provoke. That's cool. For a minute there I was taking you seriously.

On the off chance that you really are this insane I'll say a few things.

I am not Muslim. In fact, I am not religious at all. I think pretty much all religions are silly; Islam is no exception. So you see, I'm not partial to Islam any more than any other religion. In fact, you might consider me to be a little biased against all religions pretty much equally.

Ahem. . . Dhimmi is spelled without an "e" Mr. "I've read the Koran three times."

Yeah. I know about that. Funny you mention it as you seem to be refusing to engage in it.

I take it you can cite the part of the Koran that incites Muslims to do this?

Prove that the Koran is responsible for this. Careful now! Just because these Muslims did this in the name of the Koran doesn't actually mean that the contents of the Koran ever actually called for this. Go on, dig up the Koran passage that caused this to happen. Good luck. While you're at it, how bout a link to the news story?

Uhhhhhhhhh. . . Muhammed married a woman twice his own age. What the fuck are you talking about?

Muhammed was an unusual conquerer in his day because he did none of these things. He was relatively "gentle" for a conquerer. Those conquered by Muhammed were told they must convert to Islam - unless they were already Christian or Jewish. Muhammed essentially let members of these (and all monotheistic religions) go about their business because they technically worshipped the same god.

I think I've given you a full plate to work with. When you reply, how about trying out this "civilised" debate you speak of yourself? By that I mean do some research, pull up some Koran passages and credible historical sources that prove me wrong rather than just vomitting a bunch of hate and random insults into your post?

This is why I think you're just a provacateur. If not then I am downright confused by what you're trying to get accross here.

"All the stories circulating on the Internet and in the hadiths books about Aisha's marriage at age of 6 or 9, are no more than lies found in the corrupted books of Hadiths and completely contradict the teachings of the prophet Muhammed that came from his mouth, the Glorious Quran. We only need to read the Quran to know how false these stories are."

If I could go back in time to work against the other religions in their infancy, I would.

But for now, I will support the expose of Scientology in hopes that it never gets as ingrained into society as other religions and the corruption that goes with them.

Nip this shit in the bud, I says.
    Cheers to Anon!
