If you don't want to go the fuck buddy route, you'll at least have a friend on your side that you can talk to and shoot the breeze with. You should be happy for that, because I've seen or heard of a lot of accounts where a guy didn't want anything to do with a girl relationship wise and she completely flipped out or something along those lines.
