Once again with the religious ramblings. I don't get why you religious folk have so much to say, yet it's always the same mumbo jumbo. If you really want a "re-birth" drop some acid.

 

I compare your situation Jimi and how/why you found "God" all of a sudden to why a lot of people in jail find god. It's the only things left. And the "light" is just a general want that you had. You wanted to see the light because the light meant you would change your ways. You put all your faith into "God" and it definitely had a placebo affect on you. There's nothing god did that you couldn't of done yourself.

I'm all for God if it helps people save themselves FROM themselves. For example, my friends mom was an alcoholic and she basically said God if you help me right now i'll be forever grateful. She then thought that everything good happening to her was because of God. That's all good with me. But don't try to get others to "see the light" if they don't feel the need to. The only reason you went to God is because you were down and out. Not everyone is down and out.

I mean I even did this once... when I was soo heartbroken over a girlfriend in like 7th grade haha. It definitely worked.

yes, a lot of people do come to God when they are desperate.. and that's quite alright. That's how God wants us.. to be desperately reliant on Him even if our lives are ok. He does not want us to trust that food or sex or pot will bring us our joy He wants us to trust that He will. These things are only temporary on top of that.

I think the truth is that NO ONE knows if there is a God for sure or not. It's just something that some people tell themselves to feel better about the world and their lives in general. On the other side of the coin, I cannot tell you that there isn't a God because I DON'T KNOW.

Before I was filled with the Holy Spirit when I was forced to go to church I would feel very strange and jittery. It was satan.

Satan can make you feel bitter towards things if you let him, therefore hindering you from drawing close. Like towards people, or churches. He will fill your head with lies, and have you do the things you don't want.

When I use to get stoned I would stare in a mirror for like 20 minutes just trippin out(not a good trip out like psychotic), I would consider murdering people, I was suicidal for well over a year. Some people will say it's because the drugs simply, but I know it was pure demonic.

Did I tell you guys I have CAST DEMONS OUT OF PEOPLE IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST?

According to your logic, one is either controlled by God or Satan. I guess no one can take any responsibility for their lives. Does that mean that every crackhead on the street is possessed by a demon and that only GAWD can save them? I'm pretty sure we control our own actions here, and to believe that all of our lives are in the hands of some invisible entity, be it good or evil, is more than a bit childish.
