Aquarians,

Although I tend to believe astrology is bullshit, I do have to say that every important person in my life has been Aquarius. I'm a cancer. Interesting how it works out.

 

I don't see Aquarius as cool. Cold is more descriptive. Classic Aquarius we're talking about. More detached than the other two air signs (Gemini and Libra) combined.

The last two signs of the zodiac (Aquarius & Pisces) are the last two signs of the zodiac, considered the non-human signs. The first 10 speak of the 10 various forms of human behavior.

But, even though considered non-human, these two signs have the most to offer mankind to make their lives here on this poor-excuse-for-a-planet more tolerable and painless.

Pisces rules oil (the gas we put in our cars), movies, television, tobacco, illicit and prescription drugs.

And without Aquarius we wouldn't have electricity.

Much of this world today is hung in the balance by electricity. Cut off the electricity and the world comes to a screeching halt.

Much of astrology is pleasant meditation. Many astrologers meditate on their own charts their entire lives. Whenever I read something by an astrologer I sit back and can meditate on it for an eternity.

When I read that statement on Pisces and Aquarius being the two non-human signs, that took some meditation, observations for me to halfway accept that statement. With some doses of intuition being my guide, observing strongly Aquarian and Piscean types.

IMO, these two signs are capable of taking us away from this planet and giving us all some distance from the pitiful human race. They're here to elevate us beyond our mundane existence. I also include science, space travel with Aquarius.

With Pisces, it's more compassion for their fellow man, to help you escape from the pain of daily life. Had a bad day at the office, go home fix yourself a Piscean drink, turn on a good Piscean movie, or hop in the car and use some Piscean oil (gas) to take you wherever to escape the drudgeries of life.
Not strong enough to do the job? Well, there's a whole array of illicit drugs and prescription drugs to dull the pain as well. The more positive expression of Pisces, is spirituality. Spiritual highs can be reached without drugs, alcohol. And it doesn't cost you a penny.

All signs have something to offer the world. Scorpio rules sex, and what is sex, but one of the greatest joys available to mankind.

Virgo offers you computers.

If you're going to study astrology, I'd start with learning the basics: fire, earth, water, air. The ABC's of astrology. And meditate on what happens when the elements come together. What happens when fire comes in contact with water? Water with Air? Earth with Fire? It makes for a fascinating study/meditation.

And then, what happens within you, when you mix up all the elements, or to anyone else. Air and water are the most difficult of all elements to mix together. My heart goes out to these types. Yo-yo's. Air suggests being head-bound, intellectual, left brained activity. Water is emotional, involves your gut, feelings. And to get emotionally involved with one of these types, been there, done it. It's like living with two completely different people.

Myself, I like Linda Goodman as an Astrologer. And Liz Greene. Aries, Pisces, Scorpio predominate in the charts of astrologers. If you have any of those signs predominate in your chart, it will come lightning fast to you. Particularly if you have your Moon in Aries or Pisces.

Projection is also a fascinating study. There are many who hate their zodiac sign or elements within. And if you have something you have a hard time dealing with, something you'd like to repress, that provides an opportunity to project that onto others, your partner. And perhaps the person you meet may have something in their "closet" for you to wear. Then what do you have? Instant love! It's like: I have this really ugly outfit in my "closet" that I'll never wear, it looks bad on me, but your partner tries it on and your partner looks dashing in it. Your partner has something in his "closet" that he or she never wears, you try it on, and it fits perfectly and you love it.
That's that way projection works.

I've seen any number of women with Mars in Fire signs (noted for their hot-tempers, violent-prone) marry wife-batterers. Time after time. They project their unexpressed anger/violence onto their partners, and, in a sense, they've been elected to express it for them. Same with promiscuity. You can project your promiscuous desires onto others, and then you get this same old story: He cheats on me all the time, I'm forever meeting cheaters.
And, ironically, it's the projector who's, basically, promiscuous, not the projectee.

Projective relationships (I've been in them) can be fun, exciting, but not very healthy for either partner.

Oh, here's a question; are Aquarians typically moody? I know I sure as hell am.

 

^ I would not consider myself moody in general, ... but I do have very low tolerance for idiots, indulging other people's crap, or people who are needlessly rude/mean/nasty or cruel to others or animals. Encountering any of the above can make me turn cold, arrogant, and abrupt, ... and not feel bad about it at all even tho it is the extreme opposite of my usual demeanour.

When like that, I can wipe people off without batting an eye lid and not give it a second thought. We Aquarians are supposed to be able to emotionally detach ourselves from situations and people quite easily lol. That said tho, they would not be 'in' with me anyway if they did any of the above, so I guess that makes them easy to dismiss. Friends tho, for them I have all the patience, loyalty, tolerance, and reasoning, in the world.

I totally agree with this....I have to say everything I have read about aquarians and myself tends to be true as far as personality and character traits. I am a pretty shy person at first but if its a topic I love I will talk your ear off about it.

to be honest i think its because you arent emotional much or dont show it to anyone and theres not much to discuss about someone if you cant relate to them on an emotional level.

 

I guess that makes sense. A lot of people seem to use their emotions in petty ways to me, though. I dunno. Why waste your time getting angry at little things?

 

I'm an aquarious... i have most of the personality traits (if not all) of it. So i really believe in this stuff, haha. But yes, WE ARE BEAST.

I wouldn't say passive. We'd rather listen to what others have to say, unless we have a strong opinion on the matter, THEN we'll speak up. But we tend to be quiet and observe, and become trapped in our own deep thoughts, than to humor anyone else around us. (;
I tend to be loud and speak up for myself. I'm the opposite of passive, trust me. Hahaha.
