:cheers2: In August I was arrested for posession and I had my day in court last week. My lawyer tried to work out an agreement with the prosecutor before hand, but he insisted we go to court. As it turned out, he fucked up big time. We introduced all my disability records from social security, covering everything from cancer and chemo, my loss of a lung to the cancer, my bad heart and inability to treat the pain from needed by-pass surgery, my COPD, my epilepsy, and my depression. Plus the doctors recommendation. The judge heard all this, looked at me, and then looked hard at the prosecutor. He accepted my defence and then made his ruling. I was placed on three month unsupervised probation and had to pay court costs ($57.50). I left there happy as a pig in shit.At least in my case, the Maryland medical marijuana law worked. It was good news for all the mmj patients in this state.:sifone:
i would have demanded money to pay for your lawyer and refused to pay the court fee, to be honest. you are on medical marijuana for a reason, they initially charged/arrested/whatever you unlawfully and made YOUR life more stressful
son of a bitch dude....with all that stuff wrong with you i feel like i should be puttin a package in the mail from canada....but i cant cause then i would be the one in court...instead if you ever get to ontario dont bring the medicine over the border...we have good medicine here.....let me know and congrats on the case
