has anybody had any experience with zopiclone?

i've read quite a few contradicting statements regarding this chemical. I've read reports which say "it's not very recreational but helped my sleep", along with "it doesn't make me sleepy, but is really fun"

the list of side effects on wikipedia [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zopiclone] is somewhat off-putting.

ideally, this chemical will have only mild recreational value, but help me sleep...my vendor is including some for free with my next order, and i just want to know what to expect...

    thanks, PEACE.

Lunesta is actually "Eszopiclone" [as opposed to zopiclone...i though it was generic lunesta at first too, but i was wrong :)], which is supposed to have less side effects.

it seems that zopiclone isn't branded in the united states [and uncommon in the UK]. damn, i guess i'll have to wait and see what it's like!

i have tried zopiclone many times. It is a CNS depressant that acts on the same receptor sites as benzodiazapenes. From my experiences i would say it acts like a typical benzo like xanax or valium.it is most commonly prescribed in 3.75 or 7.5 mg pills, i find 7.5 of zopiclone has a comparable effect to 1.5mg of xanax.

It potentiates opiates and has a nice calming euphoria on its own. overal i would say it is a good benzo. except for this one problem that totally ruins the drug.

When you take zopiclone it screws with your tastebuds and makes your saliva and any food or drink taste metallic, even water. there are many cases of this if you google it. the tase is extremely unpleasant and kills my high. although some people may be able to bear it, try it once and see how it effects you. Be careful, i took 4x 7.5 mg pills and blacked out, this stuff is strong, try 7.5mg to start.

    thanks,
    trichome

ps: it kinda helps with sleep, but doesnt make you sleepy.

*All of my experiences with Zopiclone have been accompanied by 65mg of Methadone a day. So these results are probably enhanced by my opiate useage.

Here is my experience with Zopiclone. I have been using it for sleep issues off and on for probably 6 months. When i first started using it, one would be perfect. So if your just starting, take one 7.5mg. It kicks in really really fast too.

By the way it IS NOT A BENZO. But has turned out to have just as many negative side effects when suddenly stopping the medication after prolonged use. So i would recommend not using them for anymore than 2 weeks at a time, taking a maximum of 2 a night. My experience with the withdrawals were not terrible, but enough to cause discomfort, minor sweats, and some rebound isomnia.

Now for the positives!!!! Im not gonna lie, Zopiclone is one of my favourite pills of all time. When i was first taking them, i was staying within the proper dosage. Over time, tolerance grew, so did the amount of pills i took. When i started getting into the higher dosages, i felt awesome. Similar to a benzo, but not quite the same. They changed my state of mind, made me happier. After a while i was taking them well before bed time (4-5hrs) just to enjoy the high. Now i get them probably once to twice a month, and usually take 4 a night for 7 nights. This way i dont suffer from any withdrawal symptoms when i stop taking them.

The post above me says it doesnt make you sleepy, but i promise you it does. You may not feel like its making you tired, hell most of the time it energizes me. But once you stop to sit/lay down be careful, that shit will knock you out!! I dont even know how may times ive layed down just to watch some T.V. and woken up 8 hrs later, not remembering ANYTHING. This drug causes severe amnesia, expecially in higher doses.

The metallic taste is definately a negative side effect. In my case, i have grown to enjoy the taste, and even look forward to it. (Kinda like cocaine, once youve been doing it for a while, you grow to LOVE the drips.)

Well thats my 2 cents. Nice lengthy first post eh!! I look forward to chatting with all of you.

got to try 25 mg of this last night. definitely got me to that deleriant like benzo state, i was having conversations with myself about things that made no sense at all. in that state i really wanted to smoke some 5-meo-dmt, so i loaded up a bowl (clumsily) and put a kind dose of it in there, and smoked it, all i remember is the familiar onset and then all i remember is waking up forgetting about what happened. overall it was very fun, just a waste of 5 meo dmt is all.

also the pill is EXTREMELY bitter and the taste is still with me +18 hours later whenever i drink something. still worth it IMO
