Ive only tripped on shrooms 2 times so far, but both times, i rather enjoyed the taste. In fact, rather than eating them one by one, i chewed them all at once because i thought the taste was pretty good. Whats with all these horror stories of shrooms tasting like ass and people nearly puking from them? Is it just an accquired taste or something? Cause ive had many things that tasted a hell of a lot worse than shrooms.
gross. well when they are grown in cow manure they probably taste worse, i've only had them made from home though. i dislike any taste of mushrooms, magic or not. i am a little bitch about it the only thing that bothers me is how the feel when i chew them, squishy but hard. other than that they taste like stale pistachios.
yeah i agree, i never found the taste all that unpleasant... just sort of bland, but nowhere near making me want to vomit. have you ever made mushroom tea? i did that the other day and honestly, that stuff is just straight up tasty. i think i'm doing that from now on.
i agree with the op and mist its not that bad of a taste...the time i came closest to puking was when i put them in a peanut butter sandwich...and it was just sticky and they got caught in my throat i rather enjoy chewing them as well and the taste isnt bad the most recent time i ate shrooms, well know two times ago i was given mushroom tea at a tool concert and the dude gave me a sip warning me it nearly made him puke. now i chased it with sprite/vodka mixture and took the tea like a shot but it was good...in the end he gave me the bottle because no one else could stand the taste of the tea, and i found it oddly delicious i guess good for us? haha idk
the more i ate them, the worse they tasted. I used to eat fresh shrooms no prob, and now there's no way i could pop and chew em. I also used to think dry shrooms tasted good, but now they taste like ass.
I always kind of thought they tasted a little like those chocolate marshmallow egg things. With a hint of cracker. So yeah I'm fine chewing them up but when it comes to swallowing I'll admit I've gagged once or twice. But thats all fixed with a nice swig of OJ
haha my story is the exact opposite. i could not eat mushrooms on anything, no exceptions until the day i ate magic mushrooms. after which i realized that if i could eat magic mushrooms it was silly to not eat regular mushrooms. I enjoy mushrooms on pizza and in all kinds of food...as long as its cooked if only i could explain to my parents the sudden change in my liking of mushrooms hahahaha
Stuffed mushrooms on the grill are my favorite regular kind, psychedelic ones I just eat like popcorn washed down with a cold beer:cheers2:
I usually stuff regular mushrooms with a crab meat stuffing, portabellas I like to marinade with italian dressing and cover in mozzarella cheese
I guess it's a matter of personal preference. I mean depending on how hot looking she is and how recently showered, ass can be quite tasty.
