Has anybody achieved "ego-death" whilst tripping?

I tripped for the first time on Halloween and to my understanding I achieved an ego death. I couldn't move my arms and didn't perceive pain. Words didn't make sense to me and I couldn't relate to others even though they looked like me. It was like the perfect storm:

Depressive existentialist state.
Tripped alone/2 hits.
Halloween.
With people I didn't really trust, aside from one of my friends who gave me security during the first half of the trip.

I've posted 2 threads on my incident and I think I've pinpointed what happened to me whilst reading up on ego-death. I was chewed up and spit out by my consciousness. I didn't want to let my ego go, because I knew that the only way to a true "ego-death" was death itself. I now understand why people such as Aldous Huxley requested an LSD injection on his deathbed. I think if you experience the ultimate despair whilst tripping.. as I did. There's nowhere else to go, you're done with LSD. Just as I stopped drinking because I enjoyed weed.. and just as I stopped getting high because I took LSD.. It is the end now. I don't have any use for these mystical drugs. I have understood what it is by only taking it once. I am sorry for posting another thread but I would like this thread to be focused on "ego-death..".
