Need Help Oral Drug test! adderall

    Ok to quickly tell a little about myself and situation. I'm 17 turn 18 in a month and have been working food service at a retirement home for almost 2 years. GREAT pay, close to home, love the job, love the people. About a month ago, some shit went down. My two bosses found out about some hardships at home about me being falsly accused of being a pill-head (painkillers) and pulled me back to their office and gave me an oral drug test. I'm a daily marijuana user and during the time I was crazy and trying all sorts of shit. Although, for some odd reason, having smoked some crucial headies THE DAY BEFORE, I passed. I had to sign a paper afterwords basically stating that I can be "randomly" drug tested if they get suspicious, which leads to the main point of why I'm posting this right now.

    Situation: I left earlier after an 8 hour day of work, got home, realized I had the stock room keys in my pocket. I had to go back and return them, and before doing so I called my boy who hooked me up with 3 adderall xr. (I take it for writing papers and such) I snorted one, and put them in my jacket pocket and left. I went in, made it quick but bumped into a few people who might have seen me. when i left i reachd in my pocket and they weren't there! and the jacket i was wearing is known for losing shit like my keys phone and wallet so I know that it definately fell out onto the floor. I'm HOPING that whoever found them will either take them for themselves or throw them away. but most likely in fear of losing their job, they probably found the bag with the two pills and turned it in to lost and found. I'm being kind of melodramatic and paranoid I know but ever since the first drug test (which was a failed attempt to fire me) they've been on to me. and I know what's going to happen if somebody finds it and can link it to me. They're going to give them to my boss who's going to call me into his office and ask if they're mine, i'm gonna say "no never seen them" and they're going to say "then you wouldn't be afraid to take a drug test?" and i'm gonna take it and fail because it's amphetamine and i'm going to be fucked.



    Oral (saliva) drug test: A small swab that you suck on for 5 minutes that can detect mainly all of the popular abused drugs (opiate, thc, cocaine, pcp, amphetamine) and more. Apparently it can only detect marijuana 14 hours after consumption because i passed having smoked the day before and a few other people at my job did too.

    My question is
    , can these oral tests detect adderall, if, how long? and if they can is there anyway i can flush it out of my system by drinking water or something? i know the whole drinking thing just dilutes your piss but i'm dealing with saliva and i work tommorow and haven't done adderall for a while until today, and do you think snorting ONE will show up on an oral test?

    I also need help on how i should deal with this situation

    they can detect amphetamine, and don't hold me to this but i'm reading that it's a few days. you should try to find several sources online and see what the tendency is. just search "saliva drug test detection times" or something like that.

    but if they test you and it's positive, you're probably going to get fired, right? if it's negative then just keep denying that you know anything about the pills. what can they do? unless they have camera footage or something weird like that of them falling out of your pocket.

    it sucks. but, i have to say it- it's not like you didn't know the situation. you knew you were under close watch at work and you also knew that you've had problems with that pocket. should have been more careful man.

    Very true i kick my ass all the time because i have very bad decision making skills when it comes to impulse actions like this. Stupid. I don't think a camera got me, and, i was freaking out a lot more earlier since I was on adderall. I'm sure i'll be fine.

    amphetamine should be out of your system in 1-2 days i think. but i'd definatly look it up to be sure.
    and that's really wierd that it didn't detect any marijuana, if you smoked the day before it probably should have.

    You should have never signed anything allowing them to randomly check you. You are already an employee, therefore they have to have just cause to conduct a search, which is what a drug screen is. If they were to try to fire you for refusing to sign, you could fight it. That action of firing you for not signing assumes your guilt without evidence.
    Testing you in the first place based on hearsay not even connected with the workplace is a violation of your rights.


    Drug testing in the workplace is actually very sketchy as far as the law is concerned.
    Most companies selling workplace screening and the employers that conduct it rely on their employees ignorance of the laws.

    My advice is to learn the laws governing drug testing in the state where you live, as well as federal laws.
    Drug testing has been ruled by the supreme court to be a violation of your fourth amendment rights. Check this out

    My advice to anyone who reads this and is concerned is to know your rights under state and federal laws.
    Workplace drug screening is a very touchy area legally, so your best defense is to know the laws and use substances wisely and with common sense.
    Understand some job descriptions or types may be subject to random unannounced testing that is supported by both state and federal laws. Most of those are what are considered "safety sensitive" jobs. Any driving, flying, heavy equipment, federal jobs are subject to random testing for example. But even then their are guidelines that the employer needs to follow in carrying out the testing. They cannot randomly test the entire workforce, but testing has to be done for a certain percentage, 50%, chosen by random ballot.
    If your employer is singling you out for random testing and you only work food service in a retirement home, that is hardly safety sensitive, and they aren't testing at least 50% of employees randomly selected they are in violation, at least in CA.
    I don't know about you, but if it were me I would learn what the laws are and challenge it. Sounds like they are in violation of the laws governing workplace testing.

    Remember to look into the laws, state and federal, for where you live and read the employee handbook and other company material. Learn and know that shit inside and out.
    I challenged testing once and gave the human resource manager a lesson, she didn't know shit and I pointed out the violations they were making and laws they were breaking.

    SO DON'T JUST COME TO THIS FORUM PANICKING, EDUCATE YOURSELF.

    I can't help with your question... But Mj is more like 24 hours not 14. I've took that test and failed with flying colors.

    mj can be test for like two weeks after use. its one of the drugs that stays testable in your sytem for the longest. which is why it's surprising that it didn't come up positive at all.

    Very surprising I and one other person I know have passed after a day. OR, what happened, is they were looking for opiates and found a little marijuana and decided not to tell me. Could have been. I'm really glad that you mentioned all that stuff about my fourth amendment, actually I read a whole book on drug testing yesterday. Before they tested me my supervisor mentioned that he "contacted the human resources department" so I think he had legal reg. over me. I shouldn't have signed the paper, I didn't want to look guilty and I was just so happy I passed I just went ahead and signed it. Whatever, hopefully if they find weed again they'll give a second chance?

    wash your mouth out with hydrogen peroxide. no first hand experience but i have heard from a very close friend that this was his method and it was sure fire. good luck! and dont do adderall dude, drop tabs.

    Adderall is great, do more of it. Saliva tests only detect up to 3 days at the max, even in urine in a heavy user amphetamine is out within 5 days.
