Just 28 minutes ago I drove by the stupidest sign outside of a reborn christian church yet..... It read "Bring Shampoo for the Homeless-Nov. 21" No joke! ! Shouldn't the people bring showers first? Maybe the churchgoers could also bring some carpet cleaners coupons for the homeless.
that ones not so good i saw a really good one once. it read something to the effect of: sign broken. for the message, please enquire within
:X haha, well maybe they'll planning on giving showers in some building. ethier that or they could put it on their heads and stand out in the rain, i'm told thats actually good for the scalp S
you know ... if I saw that sign, the very first thing i would assume is that the showers are being provided. You would think that such would be a reasonable assumption as there is bound to be one person in the congregatoin that would have thought 'gee, what are we going to do with the shampoo and all these homeless people?' but maybe we aren't all as rational as the religious.
in a little town 'round near where I live, a scary trend has started, and seems to have taken root. Election/campaign signs in front lawns that spout "Elect Jesus as your Savior."
obviosuly not. first ya call gather up all the homeless. then you chain them to a fence in the backyard, and douce them with shampoo. then you call the fire department and tell them that shampoo is flamable and and its a frei hazard to the church. so the firemen hose them down and everyone ends up happy. excpet the homeless people
this church is at least 15 miles away from the nearest homeless person....therefore I don't see them lining up at the church for showers... maybe the church plans on using the hair of dead homeless people to make seat covers or bible bookmarks. What little town is that phillyrup? I want to document these things with my camera for future generations.
A little place called Johnsville and/or Shauck, OH in Morrow county. It's on St.Rt. 314, about an hour north of Columbus. I haven't been around to some of the other local 'villes in the area, but would bet that they have the signs also. (Mt. Gilead, Chesterville, Marengo, Centerburg)
