Just some background info. I have a '77 Bronze t-bird. Have long brownish blonde hair past my waist, braided in like 30 braids. I just went down to the high school to pick up my younger sister. As I'm leaving the parking lot, these two guys are by one of the cars I am passing. One guy says to the other, " look at that hair". I didn't think anything of it, because people often comment on my hair. Then right as I'm passing he says "keep it in the circus, freak," Nice huh?
I would have started spinning my head around and then beat him to death with my braids. I saw that on Hercules once... except it was a ponytail. Then Hercules cut it off, and the lady was like, "My hair will be back....... AND SO WILL I!!!" It was crazy. Do that next time!
hmm ignorant fools they are! Being an individual is far better then being cruel. People like that are just being cruel to others to make them selves feel more secure of who they are, ignore them, your hair sounds pretty cool, in fact I miss mine, I cut it off because of hassle of looking after it at festivals, hehe I’m just plain lazy.
Translation: Geez, she's hot, but she wouldn't be interested in boring dorks like us. They're just frustrated because they know that interesting women like you (or me, or others on this forum) aren't really interested in Beavises and Buttheads like them.
If I can't be the hero, I'll be the best villain I can. They were sure that you would not be into them, so they just made it official. It is actually a complement to you, and self-deprecating for them to blurt out such a ridiculous statement. Scrubs, I don't want no scrubs.....
lol, reminds me of this spider man game for the snes. The first boss fight was these too chicks who would wip you to death with their hair. It was great.
some people are just too ignorant. if you're different in any way, they'll make sure they make fun of it. it shows their insecurity and lack of originality. be proud of your hair and forget about that.
They just wanted your attention. You should have blown them a kiss. Try to focus on the fact that they're probably two people out of thousands that have seen your hair and cared about it. Your hairstyle really doesn't sound THAT far out anyway
yeah... i get that alot... people even throw shit at me.. just cause i got really bushy hair... and its like ... niceness... peace
who cares what other people think about u... it would make me want to flaunt it more... i dress funky ... i make my own threads. and i usually get a postive response from people.. if i had dreds it may be a different story i dunno....maybe i'll find out someday. btw i had braids (that were extentions) when i got back from mexico...and people were ok w/ it..but i live in a highly black area..and i did get some negative comments because they thought that i was trying to be black...LOLwhen infact everyone in mexico gets their hair braided..lol i found it very amusing...stupid people entertain me...
peaceband,you oughta look at those kinds of dumbasses with no fear whatsoever. Then they cannot make you feel bad at all. Just look directly at him, and say "Can you please repeat that?" It's funny, I've discovered that the less passionate you are, the more logical and clearly you can see things, and the more power you have too.
Funny, right after I drove away, I thought I should have blown them a kiss. I know people that do that are just trying to get attention, or make themselves feel better, but it still makes me mad that people can be so closed minded.
Look at those people with laughter, and they have no power. Perhaps you should even take on the intensity of a madwoman, simply to scare them. Sometimes dumbasses need to be frightened. Or you could slip LSD into their drinks without telling them. That would frighten them good enough.
People like that should make people like us feel good that we arnt like them. I think its sad when people feel the need to say things like that to someone they dont know based on the persons look. They must have some underlying issues to make them feel the need to do things like that. Must suck to be them.
