Big Fan. Seen 'em all. Was just thinking bout the clone wars cartoons, which I've also seen all of, and a low budget prequel to 'a new hope' which takes place days before and features obscure characters like Boba Fete and Kyle Katarn. Both excellent pieces of work, and I love them casue they further develop the plot and let you know things that you wouldn't know just from watching the movies.

So, I was thinking, if these two things exist, then there must be more that I haven't seen or heard of yet? Anyone?

I'm a purist and tend to focus on the original trilogy (New Hope, Empire Strikes Back, and Return of the Jedi). I'm such a purist that i won't even buy the DVD's because they're the Special Edition versions, which I found to be blasphemous of the original works. I'm seeing the new trilogy, but won't buy them either as I think they give the world of Star Wars a bad name. Needless to say, I'm very disappointed in George Lucas right now.

I've never seen the new 'Clone Wars' cartoons, although I do remember seeing 'Droids' and 'Ewoks' in cartoon form back in the 80's. There are also two Ewok movies starring Warwick Davis as Wicket. 'The Ewok Adventure' and 'Battle for Endor'.

Another Star Wars related show that no one seems to remember is a Star Wars Christmas special starring the original cast, Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Harrison Ford, Anthony Daniels, etc. It came out between A New Hope and Empire Strikes Back on television. I've only seen it once and never saw it again. It didn't do too well.

I'm not familiar with the short prequel you had mentioned. is it an official Star Wars story or just a spin-off?

    That's all I got.

Star Wars trivia for you. Do you remember the character Wedge from the original trilogy? He's one of the only x-wing fighters to continue to survive throughout the entire trilogy and is in every major battle (Death Star at Yavin, Hoth planet, and Death Star at Endor). Well, the name of the actor is Denis Lawson and he is the uncle of Ewan McGregor, who plays the younger version of Obi-Wan Kenobi.

I'd be willing to bear Ewan's two-headed love child.

Well, I hope this helps you out. Lemme know about that Boba Fett prequel you had mentioned.

I can't for the life of me remember what it was called, but it was something like episode 3.4. It wasn't very long, and I have a suspician that it's part of a series. I'm not sure if it's a George Lucus project or not, I think so, but I know it starred one of the original admirals from a new hope. It was about a team of rebels who were trying to save the princesses ship from an imperial fleet so that she could deliver the death star skematics to the rebel commanders. It also had a female jedi who helps them, but at the end you find out she's in with the emperor. I'm not sure if that makes sense, cause I thought all the jedi were dead at that point. Anyway, Boba Fett comes and actually helps them out too (for his own motives of course, something about solo.)

The only part of any star wars i've seen that i didn't like was The Phantom menace. Jar Jar was really stupid, and there was WAY TOO MUCH cheering going on all the time. And the pod race scene was a little too long. And I don't like the new version of the song they sing in Jabba's palace in Return of the Jedi. That was really dumb.

Clone Wars kicked fuckin ass! See it, I definately think it does justice

I love Star Wars! I have like three copies of every movie in the first trilogy, and I've seen the newer ones in the theater, but I didn't really enjoy them as much. The older ones are better because they didn't have all that computer technology shit, so they had to be more creative, and I think you can really tell a difference.

Hey guys:) I regretfully had to sell my Star Wars videos for food not long ago. Guess I'll have to buy them on DVD when my days are more fruitfull. But anywho...

Since I don't have the movies to use as reference (for artwork) I was wondering if anyone here could tell me which hand did Luke loose at the end of "Empire"? His right or his left? Thanks a bunch!

I believe it is his right hand, if memory serves me correct.

More trivia: In Star Wars IV: A New Hope, due to the design of the stormtroopers guns, they kept clanging against their armor. As a result, you see most of the troopers shooting left handed for convenience.

Star Wars is an epic story. Good vs evil in it's purest form. The new trilogy is just as interesting as the original in my opinion. The computer generated effects are direct descendants of the old puppetry that used to be used. If you dont like the new trilogy because of computer effects then I guess you dont like other movies that use them either like, Lord of the Rings, Shrek, Spider Man, etc....

WELL DONE all you suckers have paid for Mr lucas to have anothe holiday home somwere and a even bigger swimming pool.

The original 3 were prety good , but i do fear the thoughts i have now about him having no original thoughts and just stealing his 'creative team' of ideas was sadly true back then as well.
