    11-07-09, Dallas-ish?

Paperbacks Plus, in Lakewood - FANTASTIC little used bookstore with a really great community board.

What ho - I was there 3 days ago! An easy bike ride from home. Will pay more attention to community board. Thanks.

TRF is a ton of fun! :) I'm not going to make it this year - too busy with art shows.

I hope someone will give an account of Mad Swirl. What is ren fest? TRF?

My situation is this: after many years away from fests and related I went to the Coalessence Fest last year and was completely blown away by the music (mainly psytrance) and the greatest gathering of hippies I'd been with in a long time. Went to Rainbow this summer and it was okay, but, I don't know - maybe just not my scene - not necessarily beautiful but stoned (to rearrange the words a little). Would love to find nearby (north-central TX) fests. In the meantime, planning on Wakarusa and Sonic Bloom next year, but in the meantime ...

I got it: TX Renaissance Fest.
