i agree that the disorder is caused by brain chemistry and that it exists. it just seems like its often used as an excuse (maybe more in my age group, teens, who are lazy and inattentive anyway?) and medication for it seems over-prescribed.

oh yeah and the dream thing haha. i just figured who better to teach you to concentrate on something than bob ross?

you get adhd from taking add meds. why? because they drain dopamine from your brain and mess up your receptors and then you feel depleted and like you have a disorder. yes, it's a stimulant and will make it so you can work easy and be productive but it has side effects. if you have a mental condition you should not even do any drugs at all and need to exercise and meditate n stuff.

 

I love how people who have probably never taken adderal or been diagnosed with a.d.d feel so strongly about other people taking meds, looks like a sign that their jealous and maybe they need some fuckin meds too.

This is the real world man. If all I did was exercise and meditate to medicate my despression / a.d.d many people would be dead at this moment, so push shit that doesn't work somewhere else lol.

I doubt anyone who is prescribed to pharms really gives a rats ass about the pharmaceutical companies. They supply them with what they need. Maybe I feel like my pot dealer is equally as greedy as this "machine". Do you suggest I quit buying from him? I'd hate to be feeding machines n such. Drugs are drugs; some people like pot, some people like speed. It's not your place to decide which they should do. Maybe he does rely too much on pills. Why should you give a fuck? His body, his money, his decision. Don't tell people how to run their lives.
