What do you think about the idea that marijuana is actually just way for the government to brainwash you, and keep you in an altered state of mind in which you are completely unable to do anything to protect your freedoms? Perhaps you only think that you think more clearly when high, and maybe that's what the government wants you to think.

I'll agree with that, but not bullshit said before it about needing to be sober. Once again it sounds like you know very little about drugs, and have not had any experience with them yourself. You are speaking based on what you have heard/read from secondary sources (probably in a health class in school - [government funded])

And I assure you most people don't light up a joint thinking "yeah that'll show those fuckers in the white house!". No, they are smoking to get high because it feels good, not to rebel. It's actually humorous that you'd think that.

Well if there really was freedom, shouldn't we be able to smoke, snort, inject, eat, etc, whatever we feel like? What is staying in a clear state of mind going to do for me? What kind of action are you taking in your "clear state of mind"? Writing this article? Well this certainly hasn't motivated me to quit drugs, you haven't presented any real reasons to do so. What have you and your clear state of mind done to make positive changes in the government.?You realize the only thing most drug users want the government to change are the drug laws? alcohol, cigarettes and junk are NOT legal because they're "good for you" or "better" than illegal drugs (alcohol is one of the most fucked up drugs that exists imo). they have a long history and a lot of support from people making too much effort to keep them legal for their own profit and business.

it's all about money. fuck morality, that has nothing to do with it. everything's always about money and who is in an influential position/what THEY want because of who's giving THEM support.

not to mention the obvious racism that put many drug laws into effect in the first place.

actually yes this is true. why? because being high actually lets your guard down. so in that sense they could be tweaking cartoons and other shows on tv to own you when your guard is down. ever wonder why you gotta smoke around chill people? because when you smoke around wack people your guard is down and gives you anxiety and messes up your high. same reason why you gotta do acid and shrooms around the right people because you can't be around people who feed you their negative vibes. Marijuana allows you to pickup what is given and if your given postitivity you recieve it and if your given negativity you recieve it. this is my scientific theory through trial and error.

Edit : and the reason you get arrested for selling drugs is because it messes up the economy and the way the system is run money wise. the government loses money when your drug dealing.

 

Speak for yourself, I can be high or on psychedelics around anyone. If being high lets your guard down, then why do people get paranoid? Being paranoid is like being on edge, worrying that something is going to happen (your 'guard' is increased). I haven't watched tv in years so that theory only applies to those that actually watch tv.

No, they make money off of putting people in prisons, and drug deals are the most occuring "crime" so what better way for them to fill their cells than arresting the guy selling a few ounces to help pay his bills, or to arrest the poor black man that has to sell crack because he can't find a real job, but has a family to feed. If drugs were legal, there would be no drug dealers...it's as simple as that. By outlawing something a black market is created, and whatever is outlawed was obviously in demand, or else it would be left alone. And once outlawed the supply/demand changes causing prices to increase and much profit to be made by the guy/gal willing to take the risk in becoming a 'merchant'.

I never said I get paranoid when I smoke, I simply stated my perception of the paranoia that cannabis is associated with, especially in first timers. I believe the main reason that paranoia even became a trait of smoking is because of all the negative social stigma that tokers have to deal with. Ex. High school kid having to worry about his parents finding out that he is high when he is eating dinner with them.

Ok, so if the economy gets messed up by drug dealing, why not legalize and regulate everything so that they can tax it and make money off of it, and drug dealers will need to find real jobs. No one is going to go buy their drugs from some sketchy fucker, when they can go to the pharmacy. Personally I don't care what a government worker has to say, what do they know that I do not? Call me what you want, I don't give a shit...my ideas make more sense then the semi-legible mess full of hypocritical remarks and personal attacks that you have given.

I like washing my brain. In my experience that is exactly what cannabis does, and exactly why it is illegal. It can be abused. So can that jar of pickles in the fridge. It's about how you use something and why. Cannabis being illegal is quite a useful state of affairs for getting a whole lotta free-thinkers out of the mainstream.

And honestly, if someone really wants to sit on their ass at home, blaze a blunt, and space out once in a while, who the fuck cares? Isn't that what freedom is about?
