Hi everyone. I've been looking for pictures of the initial blood return that one sees in a syringe when injecting drugs. In the past I've seen pictures and even animated GIF images scattered across the internet, and as an artist I like the shapes and lines that it forms as it enters streaming into the syringe. Watching the blood being pulled into the syringe sometimes even reminds me of a blossoming flower. I've been looking for some images of blood returns in syringes that I could do drawings from, but I can't seem to find any. Of coarse when I didn't need them I saw them frequently, but now that I want to find these types of images I can't - I'm sure you all know what that's like. So if anyone could help me out it would be greatly appreciated. I look forward to participating in the forums here and partaking in discussion with you all.
Under the bridge downtown Is where I drew some blood Under the bridge downtown I could not get enough Under the bridge downtown Forgot about my love Under the bridge downtown I gave my life away sry your post made me think of this song, and I don't think you will find anything that portrays this beautifully like a rose, your better off creating this with your mind
I'm not looking for a picture of a blood return in a syringe that looks like a flower as you thought, I'm looking for ANY pictures of a blood return in a syringe. I just clarified my initial post a bit to prevent other people from thinking the same thing as you. I was just saying that the act of pulling blood back into a syringe visually reminds me of a flower blooming, because first you see this little "seed" of blood at the bottom, and then it grows longer, and then the end expands/"blossoms" as more blood fills the syringe. I just need some images of a blood return in a syringe, or even a video if it's close up enough and focused enough, so that I can draw the stream of blood accurately.
Thanks so much for trying to help Orison, but I'm looking for a syringe with a blood return, not a blood filled syringe. Maybe I'm not using the proper term, but what I'm looking for, is when an IV drug user is getting ready to inject a drug, after they insert the needle they pull the plunger back (before pushing it down to inject the drug) to make sure that they are in a vein. If they are in a vein, a trail of blood will stream into the syringe, and I think this is called a blood return. It looks something like the image I've posted below, except with the image below the blood in the photo has been photoshopped into the shape of a jellyfish, as if to say "injecting drugs will sting you," lol. This image I've found helps me a tiny bit, but I really am looking for unedited photos so I can see what formations/shapes blood naturally takes during a blood return. And I'm guessing that blood doesn't naturally take the shape of an animal, lol, although if it did that would be pretty f*cking cool, and I'd be injecting myself with water just to see what animal I got with the blood return, lol.
I was joking, because the blood return doesn't have the magical power of transforming itself into the shape of an animal Thanks so much Number 48, that really helps. Really, thanks for finding that for me. Yeah, I've done or will do just about everything/anything, but my favorites are weed, LSD, and opiates. I stay away from needles though.
Silly me, I had been calling in the "blood return;" I had a hunch that it had a more official name, like "register." Thanks a lot *Preposteruss," surprisingly though, even with learning the more official name ("register") hasn't helped me gather up any more image results
not your fault hah. just like..I had a sickness for over a year where i had to get over 50 blood tests and many were bad experiences with pain etc. always had a phobia since then
Did someone mention injecting water will give you a headache? Water is a big part of what you inject when you IV drugs...
fill a syringe with water and slam it home and come back and tell us if you got a water headache. And when you mix drugs that are water soluble your getting more drug than you are water, or you should be, the water is just so it can pass through your veins.
MMMMMMM I can smell it! ya know that smell ya get when that roar goes through your head? I better get out of here before relapse
