So i have noticed that my vizion has slightly changed since i have taken LSD, shadows seem to be more prominent and lights seem to "burn" into my retenas for longer, like when i look at a tv and then look at a white wall the picture from the tv will be visable on the wall for a split second, this effect gets worse when i smoke.

Anybody else experience this?/ What is this and what could it mean?

    much love

well isnt a flashback temporary, this is a permanent alteration of vision, well so far permanent i guess.

I don't know why everyone worries about all this, I enjoy it to be honest with you. I mean I've never had it SO bad that it gets in my way but I have had definite noticeable vision changes, it's just after an acid trip I realize how the world is so beautiful no matter how I physically see it.

dont u people get it. acid changes ur brain chemistry and ur perspective forever. its a lifechanging drug.

i havent done acid in ages.... yet im a bit unstable, i have an altered perception. i stand in the kitchen and i feel kinda like im trippin and things are very strange.... i see things get bigger or smaller or change slighlty and have crazy dreams.... i like the dreams.
but u have to get used to it, cause its there forever now.

live life and forget u ever took acid. its the only way to get thro it. if ur a bad case anway.

i've always liked the interpretation of vision changes that rygoody sometimes posts/posted about. "HPPD being the natural state of the eye"... very interesting.

i've had a lot of visual differences since tripping. lots of visual snow/sparkles, shimmering, afterimages (the name for the TV effect you mentioned). it used to bother me but then i realized it doesn't have any effect on anything but the fact that it's there, so i stopped worrying and it's fine now.

don't worry about it. unless you have other problems.

Fuck I thought this would be a thought provoking discussion about the way we view the world and our place in it after having a positive or even negative psychedelic experience.

Just more crap about seeing colors and stuff.

Hell it's been so long since the time before I took any psychedelics I couldn't even begin to make a comparison

    ^^ What he said^^

i dont want to change who i am again.

im happy who i am. i was lost when i took acid. each time u take acid u get skewed down into a different perspective, and ur different.

iv found me and fuck if i want to go thro that again.

    I have the same thing.
I guess HPPD would be the medical term.
Nothing that I even care about though. Minor visuals, slightly interesting at times. My mind remains unaffected and the visuals don't take up my whole vision space.
Nothing to worry about, at least not IME.

well iv tripped out with like 12 people at a time, and i know how and what who takes and what who goes thro and if u do enough of the shit, or even just a bit even if ur not aware of it urself u change.

my one friend had no idea that he had changed when he had changed soooo much.'
so dont be fooled by ur own personal awareness.

have u fuckers even done much acid? i was fine to after the first lot of trips i guess. its the bigger trips that change u more.

its funny how some peopel are in such denial.
    i like my sig
i dont like the acid forums im leaving again for a few months errr
