Does anyone know any plants that are actually psychoactive and moderately lasting in there effects. I would like noticable effects that are truely noticable, as i plan to smoke it with my tobacco throughout the day. I only smoke tobacco spiritually with my pipe and i still get the connection from it, but i want to add a plant to my blend that would add to the ritual of smoking. I heard smoking the leaves of datura stramonium will give effects, but im skeptical. I'm also highly interested in plants that have or share similar effects to marijuana but with there own unique qualities. Marijuana is available to me but it just doesnt connect with me anymore, i pretty much overused it, smoking about a third an ounce a day along with consumption through food preperations. And i've grown very immune to it, when i do get high even having abstained from it for long periods of time it just makes me feel slightly buzzed for about 30 mins and the spiritual aspect to it has closed it off from me I just want a new unique plant to start a new relationship with. Please post your knowledge if you would be so kind :hat:
Amanita Muscaria mushrooms sound like they might be exactly what you're looking for. you can eat them for strong effects, but there are many reports of people successfully smoking them. http://www.erowid.org/experiences/e...rch=&A1=-1&Lang=&Group=-1&Str=&Intensity=&I2=
I just smoked some Panther Amanita.. didnt really get much other than the enlightened aroma placebo buzz..
I like smoking amanita, heres my method: wash the white spots off the fresh amanita peel the red skin and scrape all the orage goo off the top, discard the rest oven dry the skin/goo with the heat at about 70C once Fully dry they are ready to smoke.
man there is nothing like a good changa on some caapi leaf. really gets the ole caapi healing spirit in there. so nice. not like the rush of pure DMT.
So you actually caapi leaf instead of the vine for changa? Interesting... I've only recently found out about this, so, sounds damn promising.
lotus is a relatively pleasant plant to smoke, and has real effects. Sinicuichi is a good one, but youd have to smoke quite a bit to get anywhere. I have smoked enough sini, its quite pleasant, and may mix well with tobacco. there are several traditional smoking blends used by indigenous American people in combinatrion with tobacco, if I can find info Ill post it.
n,n-DMT? Not a plant but it can be extracted from certain plants. The only down side is it's very short acting and once you dose you have mega-tolerance that lasts around five hours.
I thought it was the opposite, that there is virtually no tolerance for smoking DMT and you can go all day and get to breakthrough every hour if you want.
I've done it multiple time a day about an hour apart each time. I never noticed a tolerance. Each time I was blown away. I've read about tolerance, but in my many DMT trials I have never personally experienced tolerance to it.
yeah i've heard the same as Writer, and ime you can smoke it throughout a night and it doesn't get any weaker. i've also heard that shamans can drink ayahuasca for weeks on end because you don't develop a tolerance to DMT.
In my experience you do have an insane tolerance for around 5 hours. I'll try find a link to back this up though...
I've heard this many times, and read it as well, but from my experience with DMT there never appeared to be a tolerance.
I've attempted smoking dry amanita caps on multiple occasions, but have never yielded any noticeable effects. Plus the smoke smells/tastes terrible.
