Yeah this is like my favorite activity, iv'e just always wondered why this sport isn't heard of/popular?? I have only met like one other guy that got into a snowboard racing crew, and thats really the coolest thing i thought. I know skiers go faster and it's more popular but thats what annoys me is that one of them is so heard of and i don't even like skiing. I wish this could be in the olympics.

I always got jealous of the dudes on alpine boards who could just lay down arcs with their hips on the ground. But I am a dirty telemark skier so I mainly hide in the trees.
Dammnn finally i am aware of what it is and what it's called thanks vapemaster. Imo i think snowboard racing is way more fun to watch, tricks are cool but they're overrated i think. And i don't care if people call it snowboard cross i think that sounds stupid i like to do snowboard racing and that's what i'm calling it.
Difference of opinions I really like urban riding because you have to get super creative with your lines.
Yeah i have really unique opinions and i respect everyone elses. I think the coolest idea for snowboard racing is you start at the top of a mountain, and you have to find your own line (go anywhere on the mountain) to get to a specific finish line at the bottom. That is my favorite way to race for sure.
I used to skiboard, the owner of Line Skis who invented the skiboard lived in my home town and my 8th grade art teacher was his dad. I actually went to a skiboard camp hosted by the Line team and didn't have money for a hotel so they let me crash in their condo since I was a local to their town, partying with a bunch of pro skiers was like a fantasy come true for me ha ha.
Lol for real though I don't discriminate. You could be riding down the mountain on a lunch tray for all I care. As long as you get out and enjoy the snow.
