What do you prefer to use during your period?

I'm a recent convert of the Mooncup, and, like every other person I know who've gone through this, want to tell the world about it. I was wondering how widespread it actually is at hip forums, I assume it's more popular here than in other places. (Plus I want an opportunity to disseminate the information... )

 

I voted for Mooncup, but I actually use the Diva Cup. I also have a few cloth pads I use sometimes. I have a million pads and tampons laying around that I don't want to go to waste, so I use them every once in a while to use them up.

 

I use both pads and tampons, but after reading about the mooncup, I'd really like to try it out.

 

I'm asking for reusable sanitary napkins for my birthday!

 

i dont like tampons,i dont feel comfortable with them. i voted for the mooncup, cuz it seems like something totally new and maybe its the best.

 

i love the mooncup. IMO it's better than diva cup. fits better and feels softer. but maybe that's just for my body, lol! everyone's is different.

there was actually a pretty decent discussion of menstrual cups recently in this forum, and one about gladrags that somehow got on the topic of menstrual cups too... do a search, i'm sure they'll come up.

lotsa people on here use 'em. lotsa others want to but haven't yet.

 

Tampons only. I don't know why... I hate using anything else...

I can't stand pads; they drive me insane. I prefer tampons but I would like to try the mooncup.

 

I voted "Mooncup," but I use the DivaCup (it's the same thing.) Rather than typing a long-winded post about my reasons for using it over pads and tampons, here's a review I wrote about it: DivaCup: Woman's New Best Friend

After using the DivaCup, there is no way that I would go back to the disposable products.

 

Pads, but the "Natracare" ones made without the nasty chemicals. I can't stand "regular" pads like Always and whatever. I used to use them and I got lots of problems with burning and irritation. They may be thinner and more flexible but man, the burn

I've never tried tampons but I'm tempted to give a Mooncup a go

 

I don't get a period but when my ex got her period i used cocaine

 

I never used a mooncup and hadn't a clue what it was til I just looked it up, I have to say whoa... lol but very interesting concept, I must look into it more.

I'm a diva cup user. I've only had it a couple months and have not completely mastered it... but this month is going much smoother than last. =)

 

I use tampons, but like a lot of the others I've been wanting to try one of the "cup" methods.

 

thats my boat. i was gonna order a mooncup, but when it said they couldn't be shipped to the states. i use tampons mostly, because they are fast, and easily concealed. im also looking into cloth pads but im on the fence at the moment.
