4 aco dmt - oral vs. nasal

Well in your opinion, is nasal more worthwhile? It requires less dose, trip comes on stronger and is shorter, however there are advantages and drawbacks to it.

With mdma, many people say that snorting it is not as good as the oral experience, is this the same with 4 aco dmt?

 

I've snorted 3mg and 10mg, and both times were very lackluster, even though those are small doses. 10mg snorted should work out to a nice 20mg+ dose, but I just got very subtle effects, and I was even on aMT too. So I think oral is the way to go.

Also, my 4-aco-dmt has the texture of moist flour, so it's extremely difficult to work with for insufflation.

 

12mg 4-aco-dmt fum. salt was mild; i talked to my roommate [a friend of my mom's...older women] about art for a while. i was chatty [as i am usually] and she didn't seem to notice i was intoxicated...she may have thought i was stoned...who knows.

15mg nasal: I tripped much harder than i did on 12...i couldn't keep composure around my friend's mother. like a low-mid dose of mushrooms, but still less confusing.

20mg nasal is pretty intense for me...about equal to 3-4 grams of mushrooms. there wasn't much burn at all, and NO nausea. The drip isn't too bad at all.

i feel altered at about 3 minutes...start to trip in 15 minutes....start a HARD peak at about an hour...absolutely BEAUTIFUL visuals...it was EXTREMELY similar to mushrooms...for brief moments in my peak i felt like i had taken a threshold dose of DMT [the same odd sensations in my mouth and up my spine].



it is a hard powder to work with, but you can use 2 credit cards to make the lines straight...and they're pretty small.


a close friend took 20mg oral and barely felt a head change, and it made him nauseous...i'm hesitant to try an oral dose, because nasal works so well for me.

fum yeah. i think all 4-aco-dmt going around is fum. yeah oral i had a good +++ with 40mg, so 20mg insufflated should have at least approached that, and it didnt. Oh crap I just remembered something, when I snorted it, my entire throat suddenly FILLED with the powder like I had snorted a line of pure dust. Like the stuff just shot through my nasal passages and most of it just billowed into my throat, so I think a lot was absorbed orally and that's why it was weak. Gotta snort this one very very gently. It really is like flour.

 

yea, that makes sense...whenever i've nasally dosed anybody with it i've told them not to swallow the drip at all.

swim may have a source for the HCL salt...that crazy bastard said he is going to get some as soon as his other ventures are complete to compare the effects.

he's also been meaning to convert the 4-aco into 4-ho to compare the effects of the 2 chems.

 

i took around 32mg of the fumarate 4-aco and i tripped really hard. i think it was because i didnt expect it, i expected something like an 8th of shrooms and 32mg was definitely not like that haha.
i think im going to try a nasal dose whenever i get more just to try it.

 

How would you convert it? Should be almost 2x as potent.

 

i read on BL that 4acodmt (maybe tryptamines in general?) is not roughly twice as potent when snorted (like 2cxs are).

once i calculated the molecular weight difference btwn the fumarate and the HCl, and i believe the HCl should be 1.36X as potent. (only considering MATH, so i'm sure that's only approximate)
so for example
20 mg of HCl = 27.2 mg fumarate

 

In my experience tryptamines that are active orally without an maoi are no more potent snorted than eaten. They do hit you quicker. This is is different from the phenethylamine rc's which are 2 or 3 times as potent snorted. On the other hand trypts don't generally burn very badly, which can't be said of the phens.
