excited about trip tomorrow, some questions.

well tomorrow me and 2 of my friends are getting 6 hits of some acid, and we are all doing 2 each.

i have only done acid 1 time previously, and im not worried or anything i do shrooms pretty frequently so i am confident in my tripping ability.

we are going to see toy story in 3D at like 715pm, if i take the cid around 3 pm would that be good for the movie?

 

Depends if you wanna be peaking for the movie or not.. a lot of things might happen between when the acid hits and when you have to get to the movie by.

Personally, I wouldn't want to go see a movie while tripping, but that's just me.

If you have it at 3, it will be at its peak at 4:15-4:30 and the peak will continue until about 7:30 then degrade until about 1

I say take it at 5 - 530pm. So by the time the movie starts you'll be tripping balls. Although I wouldn't trip and watch a movie. Your attention span might not be there.

 

dont smoke pot during the comeup. my first time i went to a theater as well, on 3 hits and a bowl, and i was not able to function. the bowl made my trip warp speed. if i didn't have sober friends around me to literally hold my arm and take me places and speak for me and explain what the fuck is going on, the theater staff would have probably removed me or called security. i was just not able to interface with others.

 

Going to a movie theater is a bad idea - you don't need to be watching a movie there is a way better movie when you close your eyes.

 

Ok I will just throw this out there against the deluge of one sided opinions, I had a bloody HELL of a good time watching a movie my first time on LSD. Would I do it again? No, it's a waste of time, but I didn't know that at the time, and neither does OP, so if he wants to trip bawlz on acid and go see a movie let him

I think it's a good idea to take it an hour before the movie, so that your come up happens during and throughout the movie. It'll occupy you in the transitionary stage where you might feel anxious ... and then once you'll leave the movie, you'll be flying, and happy as fuck to be out of there, ready as fuck to experience the world. Me and my friend ended up in a movie theatre on acid in the wintertime, it was cold and we needed a break from wandering - the movie was shit but it felt safe and warm to be able to just sit for a little while and get a hold of yourself.

 

Hmm i went on a sponge bob 3D ride at an amusement park on mushrooms and also high. It was defiantly intense, but it wasn't that hard to function in society, since your in a theme park it feels there is a certain sense of freedom where you don't have to really explain yourself to people.

Idk, in a movie theather for hours it could be a lot different though. I have had friends who have sat through movies and just geeked out and loved it, watching the lights on the floor more the movie itself.

Maybe you should eat your acid a little closer to the movie, just like an hour closer.
