   Has anyone used or heard if using DCM as a solvent to clean up or recrystallize DMT?

   It may work. Find the solubility data for DMT in DCM. If it's pretty soluble in hot DCM not not very soluble in cold DCM, you've got a candidate. My guess is that it won't work well, though. If it would, we'd have heard about it.
