Disney movies are amazing for children and for adults. Whats your favorite movie? Thumbelina is by far my favorite. The music, and I always wanted a fairy prince ._. Tarzan comes in a close second, it makes me want to go veggie because the close bond it shows between human and animals. Its SO sad aswell D: I cry my eyes out. :blush5::blush5:
Alice in Wonderland, Bambi, The Lion King, Pirates of the Caribbean, Lady and the Tramp, Fantasia, The Jungle Book, Toy Story... I just love Disney. I also enjoy the controversy around their values, the parks, the Easter Eggs and fun facts, the nature vs. man themes, the beautiful graphics and songs, and you're right: they appeal to both children and adults! They approach important lessons for kids in a compassionate and entertaining way and they throw in cracks for the adults as well. When I was little I could get lost in those movies, but now I can appreciate the fine craftsmanship involved.
Disney films are one of the best, for young and old alike. My fav Disney film has always been Fantasia, and Fantasia 2. But there are just so many that I do like. Dont think I can ever remember seeing a bad Disney flick.
Aladding if that's disney... or The Nightmare Before Christmas, if thats also disney lol. Did you know Disney got it's name because the person who invented Disney's name is Yesnid and that's basically Disney spelled backwards? random I know but it's been stuck in my head since I went to D.W like 7 years ago lol
Actually, the name Disney came from the name... Disney. I know, right? This guy named Walt Disney decided it would be cool to make all these kid's films and then eventually a park he named after himself. I know where you got Yen Sid from, though. That's the beardy sorcerer in the Fantasia segment The Sorcerer's Apprentice. The animators named him this as tribute to Walt Disney and it did become a nickname for the man himself. And, yes, both of your choices count.
Hahaha yeah your definitely right on that. As soon as I read that I remembered just how wrong I was! I remember that what you said is ACTUALLY what I heard lol. I knew it was something like that though... Thanks for correcting me. How did I forget good old Walt Disney!
