My dreads at 14 months...pics

Yup here's my hair...no maintenance really, just keeping clean, mostly..

 

It's weird that these pictures fuck with my neck, like why can't I just look at horizontal locks...? Your hair is interesting. It reminds me of hemp bracelets... the color and all the adornments. Really interesting texture. Sweetness. Welcomes.

Thanks for all the nice comments I was like what...what dolphin? lol. that was random. They're not heavy, I don't think. Some are fat and some are thin. The fat ones you see mostly in the back. They started out around the same size but some formed differently than others. I have 2 braids that used to be dreads. One of them used to be a flat funky dread next to my face, and I didn't really care for it and wanted something pretty hanging there. So I combed it and braided it. I have some acorns in my hair and a few wraps.

They weren't thick when I started them actually...I have really thin and fine hair, but it was down to my butt...so the dreads were pretty thin (I had 38 of them) but they shrunk.

 

I love them!
