Some might say it's pointless, but my hair is super slippery and if I left them alone, then they just turned into long strands of straight hair. I wouldn't continue T&R if there is a good knotted section in the dread, but if you think you are going to lose all knotting, I would suggest a little T&R.
Am I the only one who T&R and had next to no unraveling??? I like your mess keep with it! They may be unraveling due to how much your washing them/ your hair type. I didn't wash my hair for almost 2 weeks when I first had them T&R. After my first wash a few tips fell out and I just T&R them a little and ever since then they've been fine.
Yep. Pat just did an awesome job. Ew, my TnR job she was eating toast and had greasy fingers workin' with my hair.
Here's a little update and some pics, crossed the one month mark last friday. I still have a long way to go, but my hair doesn't look as much like a crow's nest as it used to. I know it doesn't look like it from the pics, but they are in fact separate sections lol Somehow when I take pics of my hair it tends to look like it's just really messy and not like there are any babylocks there
We've all been in the same position man. My hairs starting to look better now though. I've been going for 2 months and 12 days. I TnR'd a little at first and then I let time do the rest. Some of my TnR dreads fell out though so basically I'm going half TnR and half neglect. I wanna see which ones look cooler... But most of the neglected parts have started to get sucked in to the TnR'd ones.
I can see the sections. It is a little tough to see... light can do funny things when taking close up's inside. Things look like they're on track though. Peace!
Kinda strange how sections are more visible on my webcam than my actual camera Oh look, a picture where I'm actually smiling! Also, I hope I'm not killing you by pumping out pictures so often lol
