Advice for a beginner?

So, I haven't smoked at all and me and my friend are curious on what it's like. We're sophmores, so finding some pot won't be that hard. Just wondering, what should I be buying first time? This is Wallyworld, CT so I'm pretty sure they don't have any good shit here...I'm thinking about $30 of w/e I can get, but I'm not sure how much I'm getting, how much to load in a bible-paper joint (Can't get rolling paper -.-) and if it's good shit...

Any help would be pretty sweet.

 

Never buy a gram of anything over $25.

If it's brown, it's schwag, don't listen to the "This is sweet as KB/Dro/Whatever" I'm charging you an extra $20. Saying you're farther north.. I'd buy 1/8th of an ounce, for about $20 tops.

If a joint? depending on the size, half a gram?

Make a water bottle pipe instead on a joint. you wont know what your doing if you try to roll a joint, even if you read up on it. I know movies and songs make joints seem the best way to smoke, but unless you have a pothead who's smoking with you, make one or ask to have it pre-rolled.

 

your best bet is to make a water bong pipe like said. i mean, id smoke outa foil before using bible paper, haha. 30$ should be a good amount for ya, you should get over a gram for sure

 

you can get good bud anywhere. i'm sure it even exists in wallyworld, ct.

if it looks like that $30 should get you at least 2 grams..or 3.

if it looks like that...you might not want it, but if it looks a little better than that, $30 should get you at very least an eighth (3.5grams) but say you want an eighth for 20 or 25

oh yea, don't use a bible paper joint - i tried it (some of them are rice paper) and it was gross! find a better way. even a pop can bowl is better. but that still sucks.

 

The only advice I can give is don't plan to only do it once. You don't really get a "high" feeling until your second time.

Well, generally the weed in high schools is never that great. Theres always someone who can get kush, but they'll overprice it and everything. I got allot of beasters in high school, which is better than average, but not the best. Really, the hardest part for a new smoker is finding someone to buy from, and you said you got that taken care of. As for how much you get. As far as mids go (which is average weed) a dime is $10 and is about 1 gram, and is good for getting you pretty high once, or a little high twice. Then theirs an eighth (of an ounce) and thats 3.5 grams. I bought an eighth the other day for $15, but its usually $20-$25. Then theres a quarter for $35 -$45, a half ounce for around $50, 3/4ths (I rarely buy this amount) which is about $75, and an ounce which is anywhere from $80 to a little over $100. Once again thats for mids. You could get an ounce of shwag for $50 or chronic for more than $200. Your location also makes a differnce. There are places in europe where weed is horrificly expensive, and I believe in new zeland it is extremely cheap. Even in the us, it varies from city to city.

If you paid $30 and assuming its mids, you should get a bag with maybe three or four nuggets, about the size of a packing peanut. As for bible paper, I wouldn't do that, since theres ink on it, and you don't want that shit in your lungs. And it would certainly burn unevenly and be wasteful. If you cant get rolling papers, you could get cigs, rub them between you fingers to empty the tobacco, and pack the weed in and take the filter off. Or your could use a pop can, just don't use the same one for too long. The first chance you get I would go to a headshop and buy a glass pipe (or a bong or bubber, if your willing to pay) since they are much more efficient than joints, and you will find that the first time you use one you will get much more high. Oh, and one more thing, I wouldn't spend the $30 on buying like a gram of some kush or any other really good weed. The first few times you smoke, you probably wont get high. I didn't get high until the 3rd or 4th time I smoked.

 

i reside in connecticut also, it sucks. but i would use a hollowed out ciggarette or tin foil pipe if i was you.

Yeah, 2 polish people were shocked that they could get 3.2g for £20. Apparently it CAN cost upto the equivelant of £50 over there :|.

You'll be hard pushed to find 3.2g bags over here any more unless you know where to go.
All the heavy bags tend to be sandblasted.

save some for the 2nd time you smoke cuz most ppl dont get high the first time-including me-but dont roll a joint. you prolly dont kno how to since your a beginner and definitely dont use bible papers...God is the way to go
