been in New Zealand for a week, currently in Wellington. I'm here on a working-holiday visa from Portland, Oregon. Pretty stoked to check out NZ.

I'm headed to Queenstown this weekend and planning on staying there for a few months. Looking for some chill people and a flat to stay in.

Anyone have any suggestions or offer up some help?

    Thanks!

I'm literally GREEN WITH ENVY!! Please tell of your travels. Tell me how the people are? Are they as awesome and hospitable as I always hear? Take pictures and post them on hip forum. Have you made any kiwi friends? Did you get a job before arriving in NZ? I'm so happy for you, and as soon as I graduate, I will be in NZ too. Are you going to try to gain citizenship, or are you just going for a holiday? Have fun!!!!

    South island-

Head to Takaka Golden Bay - stunning beautiful hippies paradise! Awesome festivals too that time of year...
    Rainbow valley rocks..
Pupu springs is amazing & check out tribal drums for a free play to stay for work exchange, give my love to Grant..

Lived there for 5 months and didnt want to leave the bay-

Raglan on the north island is pretty cool too, amazing surf, beaches and chilled hippie vibe.

    Enjoy
