I have been given durogesic patches (25mcg/hr)..
The high is similar to that of morphine but much much more intense.
(so imagine a morphine high with a hydromorphone rush)
but at the peak..i got weird, weird, delusions. They feel much like a benzo overdose when everything becomes distorted. But i need fentanyl, for pain relief, any help? will i grow tolerance to it?

    peace up.:cheers2:

It sounds like this should clear up once you adjust to the dose. I've heard discontinuing fentanyl is pretty tough, if they ever take you off of it. I tried fentanyl once, put the patch on, 25mcg/72hrs and it did feel like morphine, but it was gradual. It takes a few days to build up a steady level in your system and I only had one patch, so I didn't get anything strange like that. I've heard of opiate hallucinations on high doses, though. Just ask the doctor about it if it keeps up or they're really bothersome. Much luck!

I get some wild visuals later in the day after being on opiates.

When I'm nodding I'll get 'visuals'/ hallucinations that are sometimes indistinguishable from the waking dreams we all know and love. Like a picture on the wall will replicate itself and make tracks down the wall and then do the same when I close my eyes...but it's all very 'delerious', it's not the same as tripping on acid and watching the visuals eagerly, big grin on your face, staring in wonder

Never been delerious with a fever, not properly so, but I imagine it's kinda what that's like. Only way way more fun. Ha.
