i'm acquiring 2 hits today, one for me and one for my friend. i think we're taking it on saturday. still concerned about the place... im like actually really nervous about that. i would rather just do it in my dorm room cause then i dont need to worry about anyone bothering us, and we would be able to leave if we wanted to. i feel like if we did it in the park theres the risk of someone bothering us (theres an undercover cop that walks his dog around there; he came when we were tripping shrooms and didnt bother us, but it would probably still freak me out a little). also if we wanted to leave or go inside for whatever reason there wouldnt be anywhere to go. anyway... if we do end up being in my room, what kind of stuff would be fun to do? i have a keyboard, and i really want to try playing while tripping. but is there any other stuff thats easily accessible to play around with? any good movies or something? also how is sex on acid? also is there anything i should know beforehand? like i feel like when i did shrooms there was a lot about like how to eat them and what to take with them and all that. anything important/vital to know about acid? one more thing.. my friend really wants to have a sitter, i dont really mind and i said if he can find someone who wants to sit for us thats fine. he cant find anyone though, and hes convinced that theres a possibility we'll be tripping balls and run out into the street and get hit by cars... how do i convince him that we'll probably be okay if we're in a park with no disturbances without a sitter?
I've never felt like I needed a sitter because I've never been at a point where I felt like I could not discern between reality and the fact that I had intentionally ingested a psychedelic hallucinogen. Do people really get like that? The most I've done is 4 hits. Maybe I just need to take more....
i told him that ive been really fucked up, like not able to tell hallucinations from reality, and i never felt the need to jump into a lake or run into a car or something. i think hes just nervous because he doesnt know anyone whos tripped on acid before and isnt totally sure what is going to happen. but i know a lot of people who have so thats probably why im not so concerned with having a sitter.
Quit worrying so much about it. If you are only doing 1 hit chances are that you may be completely underwhelmed. You are not going to run into traffic and crap like that. If you've taken shrooms before and smoked weed then you really won't be to surprised by the effects of one hit of acid. Youre going to cause yourself to have a bad time if you keep up with this line of thinking. Also your sig picture, not really a good idea to posts pics of yourself or anyone else actively engaging in drug usage, especially if that isn't a pic of you. Just a thought
wise words PB wise words!!! *especially his last paragraph* it seems her friend is the one more likely to freak out he seems to want the sitter more... the only thing i can say about the dorm room is that it might feel claustrophobic after awhile, you may feel comfortable enough to go on a walk at some point, especially on one hit. playing the piano is a great idea, that being said does your friend play an instrument? say guitar? cuz that could have potential? pb was right one hit shouldn't send you too far gone, if you guys were tripping for you first time and each eating 3 idk...and i say tht because my first time i ate 3 and was glad i had experienced trippers around me, BUT do not let that scare you, you will be fine, and trip sitter, I can almost guarantee, will not be necessary. has your friend read up on acid? by the way GOOD LUCK!!! and music is key
One time I took 5 hits with a friend who took 2, and before taking them we agreed that his balcony would be off limits, because like, don't people jump off of buildings on acid and shit? Haha, we laughed at ourselves during the peak and went onto his balcony and enjoyed ourselves. Don't be afraid. Don't listen to fear. You will be fine. Sex will be great. Have fun.
I would recommend you and your friend take it in the dorm room and when you're feeling comfortable enough go outside and take a walk. Nature is awesome tripping balls. One hit shouldn't be too overwhelming so you should be fine to walk across the street as long you don't forget to look both ways. And check the internet for trippy shit to look at. ALot of material.
Yeh all that shit about walking out into the traffic, or trying to stop trains with your bare hands, or flying off of house roof's etc .. is dick talk .. I remember hearing a story from my step sister on acid being coaxed out of a 12th storey tower block window by a dancing flower or whatever the fuck it was she saw .. its maddnes, and im damn sure if you got anything about you ..... you will know the differance. i agree with everyone else, you're definitely thinking way more than you need to about one hit. dorm room is a good place if you're in a good area, but chances are you'll want to go run around outside at some point. i like to have a "HQ", so having the dorm open sounds like a good idea to me, but try not to convince yourself you need to stay in one place or another. i think the sitter part has been exhausted, lol. basically you just don't need one.

Smoking weed will kick it up a notch. You are asking stuff that is really subjective and the only way for you to know these things is to do it. Sometimes for me weed enhances a trip, other times it has caused it to go in a wrong direction. There really is no hard and fast answer to a lot of what your asking. As for your sig pic, it don't look like a cig, but it's your choice of how you portray yourself out in the public. Keep in mind that your online activity can come back to bite you in the ass at some point in the future if your not careful. A lot of employers will do a search for prospective employees online activeties and shit as part of the hiring process. Make sure you don't have anything you wouldn't want them to see or know about you on anything like myspace and shit like that. Just a thought, do with it as you please.:cheers2:
yeah that's really a personal thing, it's completely dependent on your preference. and there's no way to know unless you've tried, if you even want to. i personally don't smoke when i trip, partly because weed tends to make me anxious anyway and i don't need that shit tripping, but i also like the clarity/lucidity of acid and weed definitely clouds that. some people love it though, most of my friends always make sure to smoke while they're tripping.
It depends, on one hit you'll probably get really really high on the pot and the acid will feel like its suddenly 3 times stronger. But of course you will get all those mental effects that pot brings; paranoia, increased thoughts, increased intensity of everything, etc. I would wait to smoke up on your come down. I smoked up on the comedown of 5 hits and couldn't feel it, at all. The acid was just way, way, way, way too strong and on another level, like the level of your mind that cannabis effects is 1% of your mind when on a good dose of acid.
