actually, I'm fine with Bush, so long as its gently groomed.
and 'm fine with bald, so long as there is no spikey stuble...

but its those damn stripes, and weird shapes I hate. I just cant dig them... THEY FREAK ME OUT!

Hairy high and low and everything in between.

Hair, just like Jesus growed it. (Mary too!)

    Long, straight, curly, fuzzy
    Snaggy, shaggy, ratty, matty
    Oily, greasy, fleecy, shining
    Gleaming, steaming, flaxen, waxen
    Knotted, polka-dotted; Twisted, beaded, braided
    Powdered, flowered, and confettied
    Bangled, tangled, spangled and spaghettied!

I can't really say that I like hairy legs or armpits because I've never met a woman who hasn't religiously shaved them. As for the public hair, trimmed is fine, completely shaved is going too far and a full bush can be magnificent.

    "Public hair"? Bwahahaha.

I had a girlfriend who only shaved seasonally--in the winter she'd let everything grow, and she had quite a bit of hair when that happened. It wasn't that she was being super feminist or eco-freaky, she just used to say "The hair's gross, but shaving's a pain. I'll shave it if you want me to". I've kind of got the idea that she wanted me to ask her to shave, and then she would have done it but blamed the extra work on me, rather than taking the responsibility herself. I thought the fur was fun to see and play with! But there were other things wrong with the relationship.

Now I'm with a woman who always shaves legs and armpits, but not her crotch. I don't think she'd have much hair anyway, but most likely I'll never find out. I said "You don't have to do it just because I'm around", but she said "No, that's not my style". Well, you can't argue.

It was purely intentional, I assure you. Just my silly sense of humour.

If I'm with a girl that has any hair down there I always tell her, more or less, that that shit needs to go. GONE. Don't need that junk.

Well...I don't straight up tell them to shave. I'm a bit smoother than that...but I let them know how I like it, pretty clearly at that. And when I do, I always ask them how they like it so that I can accomodate that.

My fiance always shaved completely. But I like at least a little hair. For a while she did a little hittler patch. Now its a little bit of a line. Hair above the pussy is hot. Hair around it is nasty.

Just something tidy is good enough for me.

You should keep pride in all of your appearance, visible or not. An ex was a little extreme for my tastes, had to be rough and tell her to tone it down.

Not because I am an arse, but because if she is going to tell me to not grow a beard I think I am entitled to do say that much back!

I'm appalled by the majority of these responses. I am fully shaven because of the social implications (i.e. bikinis aren't really made for protruding pubic hair) but only for that reason. But why are 'boyfriends' perpetuating this? Removing body hair is often painful and is a huge hassle - especially removing pubic hair! All girls despise removing hair I promise you.
What is the point of a partner who makes you feel bad about your natural body. Subtle hints are no different from straight out requests to shave it off - they all make us feel ugly and probably embarrassed as well.
Step in our shoes - if your girlfriends asked you to get rid off your pubic hair (permanently) how would you feel?

Good on you earth by ocean. I personally love pubic hair and would never ask my girlfriend (not that I ever have one) to shave it off. Shaving my face is enough of a pain ......
