Hey well, so America's gone to the devil and goin to hell. I am seriously looking for a canadian citizen to get hitched with... Male, female... transgender, doesn't matter. I find this the quikest and easiest way (after researching and taking various assesments for work and buisness eligibility) to live "legally" in Canada. You may check out the gallery I have on Hip Forums if you'd like: http://www.hipgallery.com/photopost2/showgallery.php/cat/500/ppuser/4182, or search ofr it by my username.
I could give a long description about me, but I shall save time and energy and talk with anyone who would seriously like to help me out.
A few key things to be noted: I do travel, go to rainbow gatherings and such. I smoke marijuana and am spiritually bound to it. I'm a film student, actor, artsy freak-hippie able to financially support myself and for whatever else is needed.

    Many blessings friends...

    -Chilly

Let me get this straight. You are willing to leave your nation, your homeland, go to Canada and marry the first person that agrees to such a thing? Even a transgender? All as a result of TEMPORARY AND ELECTED bureaucracy that you don't agree with? Certainly that will show the government just how corrupt they are. (Note: sarcasm). I hope you don't expect to find some kind of utopia in Canada. The sky will probably be falling there too if you can't handle the horrible oppressive nature of Orlando, Florida. In my opinion, people like you are just as much of a problem in this country as a corrupt government. No patriotism, and no pride in/connection to their land. You obviously see no sacred value in marriage, and are wanting to use it as a mere tool to flee your country and seek refuge in a foreign one. All because you don't like an elected administration and some of their actions. Just fucking blows my mind. My suggestion would be to become "spiritually bound" to reality and common sense instead of pot. Since everything I just typed is probably nothing more than futile, enjoy the vast frozen expanse known as Canada. Oh, and say hello to Ms. Johnny for me.

    Good riddance.

i completely agree with the above. it seems you're looking for an adventure more than a solution to the problem in your native country.

Nothing wrong with taking a four year vacation... Lots of people do it, for school, life experience, etc...

Hell, if I didn't have kids, I would've been in another country (or several), a long time ago!

Chilly, if you can find someone, go for it... You're young and you only live once.

    Have fun! :)

Like stated before, you do only live once, but you shouldn't take marriage so lightly. And if you have done your research so well on Canada, do you even know if a transgendered or same sex marriage is even legal up there? Whatever you decided to do, and if someone is silly enough to take you serious, more power to you.

I completely agree.. you have no obligatory binding to this country.. if you want to leave, then LEAVE. I think people are simply misunderstanding your methods. And to those people: no individual in this country makes any "contract" that requires anyone to stay in this country for the rest of their life and remain "patriotic" or whatever the fuck you want to call it. Anyone can leave for any reason, and NO ONE should hold that against anyone for making such a decision... it's a free country after all, and it's your own life.

he sure woulnd't be the first person or the last to marry a canadian to be able to move here to canada....and considering how i feel about Bush, i'd prolly dot he same if i had to live in the states...then again, if i was from the states i would most likely have a different point of view...but all the power to him if he find a person who will marry him.......if the price was right...i'm be tempted to be that canadian! lol

That would be very moving if you managed to hit any of your points at all. I was born in Brazil, not the US. I have been planning to move to vancouver for quite some time now, Bush just tipped me over. To me its malways been eiother San francisco...or Vancouver. I have my right to live where i want, do i not? If i don't like the fact that the US has a very unjust war on drugs which has affected my life greatly. or the fact that one person who has no idea what it is like to be in battle, send my friends to fuckin die in some other country the US has no buisness being there in the foirst place. bush got the report.. the sanctions WERE WORKING!! He did not use diplomacy, is ignorant, turned a surpluss to a record defecit returned to a failed trickled down economics system. Made it obvious that if this world is to advance, this country has to fall as the lead power... especially when it asks for other nation's weapons as the leader (BUSH) makes new BUNKER BUSTING BOMBS.. so hey maybe i dont want to live in a country with a leader that talks about peace and gobal unity, but actions are quite different. There are a lot more politic and morals reasons, of which you known nothng about- So no your comment wasn't futile it trully teaches me much... When you are so proud of somethng and believe you are the best, that you must stay on top// well hun look back 60 years.. we are n the same path as NAZI Germany- So sure i'll say hi to ms. johnny for you as I run away from a a place where it's leader's words mimick that of Hitler. (if you want any proof/evidence/ or any info on where i study my politics and global issues, just ask).

How socially brainwahsed are you to be so... so ignorant to say that i can not be spiritually bound to pot, as many people around the world are. Maybe if you read up on different insights, or views you could open yourself up and know that. But then again, that's just my opinion. i do not expect a utopia, I dont expect t fall down rabbithole and reach shangri-la...

And so in my opinion it is people like you are who are so quick to judge, to say no to new ideas, inventions and ways of life, that will perpetuate this form of "patriotism" which only serves to hold the "global power" behind. Sure cut money to scientific research and spend it on killing others, make an amendment to the contistution that take peoples right's away- and be part of this so called "free-nation" that has the highest incarceration number in the world. I love this country, I grew up and here and am very thankful... i plan to continue to fight for my friends and family's freedom, to fight for their rights... does not mean i have to be physically here to do so. like i said before, this place is awesome, and there is nothing wrong with making a good thing better.

You have your choice to do as you wish.... as i have mine. So hey thank you for your oh so kind words which were so productive and what this world needs more of...

    *hug*

    Love you all...

Odd. YOU were the one LOOKING for someone, and I wasn't. I found someone in Canada without even looking.
I'm glad I found her though! She's a member here too.

I agree with Blonde...if you dislike it that much in the U.S. then just leave...surely living illegally in canada would be better than here, right?
I mean if it is really that bad.

And what is your point blaming it on the U.S. if you planned on going there first? Seems like you should've just went then. If you can't make it here, it's your own damn fault. I am tired of everyone making excuses for their failures, the government, and George Bush personally didn't set you back. How stupid is that?

No failures my friend. I am part owner of a pressure-washing buisness, I am a sub-contractor and a junior in college studying film, in which i already managed to receive my digital production certif. thank you very much. Oh yeah, mind you I am only 18 years of age and already have a legacy to leave behind. Now that that's said... I do agree with your point , however i do not fall into that category brother. No, I don't want to live there illegally. If I beloiebe in a just system, then I will obey by it and not be a hippocrite. i have morals, though they might be very different than yours, don't persecute me based on mine. Thank you for your input.
