Holy and Shit... i have no clue how to even begin to describe what happens. but now ive done it i have too many questions. while tripping somewhere near like the 1st peak is it normal to feel like your identity is trapped forever and everyone thats ever taken feels the same? when you let go of whats "looping you" did anyone else feel the greatest amount of mind freedom ever? does reality exist? was it normal for objects to grow to life? hows tripping with other people? does 1 hit make you trip for 12 hours too? do you *SPOILER****** exit your through your mind too? do u feel wierd like reality isnt real too??

Reflect, reflect and then reflect some more. And then go off again.

Tripping with other people can be really fun IMO.
I've never had anything be as introspective with someone else as it was alone, though.

 

I think I can semi-answer a couple Q's.

If one tab is decent strength, sure it can last 12 hours. I took half a hoffman blotter and tripped for longer than that. Milder, to be sure, but it had everything a higher dose has. It's kind of a threshold drug; once you've apexed to a certain point it's easier to reach it again.

Tripping with other people is...different, probably the biggest influencing factor I can think of. Exactly how is going to vary, but it's pretty incredible.

Everything else you asked can't be answered definitively, but I'm sure most of us have had similar experiences.

I can't resist one comment though: the picture on the tv screen, is it real? In one way it's very real, in another way it's illusory.

When you gain control over the mind, when you think for yourself, and stop letting your mind control you, you are free. "Free from the loop", as you said. Then your thoughts are free, they are not moving you anywhere, they are just an expression of your feeling in the present. That is a beautiful thing you have experienced.

Reality is not what you think it is, it is very very weird. There is more then meets the eye. You will discover the inner realms.

Everything comes to life tripping! Tripping with people is amazing especially when there close friends and when you experience the same thing together. Its like you become one group conscious.

1 hit will probably be about 10 hours, maybe 12 if its some high quality stuff.

Dig deep this is just the beginning to what you will experience.

 

Thank You. i understand what your saying.. it was what i was trying to tell everyone earlier. dualism the belief that the mind is separate from the brain. but idk LSD is kind of wierd.... This loop is just soo strange and frightening, but it holds soo many answers...Is it possible to do LSD and still believe in God? its really confusing for me. hopefully when tripping with friends it will be more "fun" and i wont overthink everything

 

of course you can believe in god and do lsd. there are many abrahamically oriented people who trip. there are also many people who would answer "yes" to you and not offer you an explanation, like myself.

 

You're still in *shock* mode right now.
Just give yourself some time. Things will start to make sense again in a new, different way.
Try exposing yourself to some different media than you are used to, I'm sure you'll see things in a different light.

That's what's actually crazy about these psychedelics.
All those things you experienced.....we don't really have any answers for you because they were YOUR experiences. They are up to you to interpret them, not us.

first of all, every good lsd trip is confusing in some respect, because its not something you can live in while in "normal consciousness", at least not by any conception of "normal consciousness" i am aware of. second, why on EARTH would you be trying to forget this?! Listen to what you're saying. That's like saying you're trying to forget the day you discovered real magic, or the day you met god, or any else reality-shattering.

 

Sounds to me like you went into it with to many preconceptions about what an LSD experience is like, and by your demeanor I'm going to guess those preconceptions focused on the negative.
Plus it sounds as though you didn't do a high enough dose to really "break through", just enough to leave you bewildered.
Doing a good dose, 200ugs-300ugs, would be a lot better, especially for a first time, then many of your questions are answered by the experience itself.
I suggest trying it again with maybe one or two others that are experienced and do at least twice the dosage you did before.

All the content of your trip came from you, your thoughts and memories, loves and fears, your good and your bad, it all can be brought up by LSD. Understanding that goes a long way to understanding, appreciating and integrating a psychedelic experience into your life.
Then again some people are not willing or ready to look into the harsh mirror that LSD can be. Are you?

Also your questions about how long it lasts indicate that maybe you didn't really research it much prior to doing it. Do a little more prep work before next time.
Personally I always found mushrooms to be a much harsher mistress than LSD, so give it another try.
