So whats the deal here? The Coppers say they HAD to use the tazer to keep the boy from hurting himself. The boy was gonna cut his leg and they just had to use the tazer. It seems like they could have done something else.

I'm my very own humble opinion, I think that if the cops have to use a tazer to control a 6 Year old boy then what the hell are they gonna do when they have to deal with a REAL threat?? What would they have done BEFORE they had the use of tazer??

The Boy was 55lbs. and the tazers are to used to 60lbs. and above. Now sure thats only 5lbs. differance but the thing to remember is that the child was 6 years old!!

    Fuck the bitch-ass cops.

I thin all unruly kids should be tazered on a regular basis and kept on a strict regimen bitch slaps for good measure.

The kid is prolly a uncontrollable little prick anyways; at home and at school. Perhaps the parents should be tazered as well.

Why can't you guys understand that the police are the law, they can do whatever they want to keep us safe, that 6 year old boy was probably a terrorist, or somebody that might do harm to me and my family, if the cops ever want to tazer or kill somebody who MAY be innocent, I would rather them do it just so we can be safe...

    Peace and Love,
    Dan

Not too long ago, a 75 yr old woman was tazered for refusing to leave a nursing home where she was visiting a friend.

Has anyone ever seen a six year old? They could have kicked him or pushed him and I promise it would have been better than a fucking tazer!

I know I could have done a better job and could have disarmed the boy.

Without all the "intense" training that police supposedly recieve.

i have seen some normal pissed off six years they can be very tough. one fucked up mentaly unstable kid swinging a peice of broken glass around after having cut himself three times would be pretty good threat to anyone.

the cop most likely chose the taz as the safest for himself at that time, and the quickest way to stop the boy from hurting himself or others.

besides if they kicked him, pushed him, maced or hit him with a baton, everyone would still be saying same thing excessive force.

Oh my God. You people are so stupid, if it were your child you would have been bitching about the cops doing something like that to your child! He was 6 years old! Yeah "Peace and Love", and you guys are talking about hurting a little kid like that! All the ones who thought it was funny or right, need help!!!

daisy, they were being sarcastic love.

A six year old with a piece of glass is not going to harm a full grown cop, it's quite easy for a grown adult to subdue a child, they had no reason to tazer him, maybe if they had done something like maced him or kicked him we would still be saying it was excessive force, but the fact remains that a tazer is uncalled for and ridiculous.
