Why do poeple try to be hippies and stoners when they really aren't? And why do people pretend to be high? Theres this girl thats in my class and she used to be anti-drug blah blah and always talk shit about anyone that drinks alchohol, smokes pot anything. And now all of the sudden she is like "oh im a hippy and im high." Its really annoying. Like this morning she came in class and was all loud and obnoxious and she was just fine then as soon as she sat down she was like i think im high like to the teacher.. then she was like i don't feel good.... and the teacher didn't make her do any work. And i was just sitting there thinking you are stupid. She was also telling the teacher about how her friend does acid. I really don't believe her and think she just really, really likes attention. And the teacher was like would you like to report your friend? And she was like noo.
lol... are theses kids like 13? Wouldnt the teacher go ape shit on something like that nowadays? shes probably a snitch.
If she's not a snitch and she's just trying to be "cool" or someshit, you should figure out a way to make her feel like an idiot or something. If she's a snitch you should just curb stomp her.
I think she was just trying to be cool. Apparently she was "drug induced." Thats the terms she was using. But all the same she could also be a snitch.

Sounds like she is screaming for attention. There was a girl in my middle school who bragged about smoking crack. I was like, WTF? Your bragging about that?... Some people just don't know how to be themselves and get friends. Or she knows someone who smokes and wants to act like them to get closer. I am a proud stoner, when I was still in school I used it to concentrate. They tried to feed me ritalin and I just sold it to buy weed. The only place I cannot be a proud stoner, is at work. I wear my rainbow hemp knit hat everywhere
I remember one kid in my class who wrote "I think I'm more of a beatnik than a hippie." In the beginning, I assume hippies weren't any different from regular kids going to classes, and later we've stereotyped them as something else. There were probably hippies back in the day that claimed to be beatniks or teddy boys or something and annoyed someone else.
you'd be suprised guys. the teachers don't do shit nowadays. a few overheard my and my friends weekend plans and just laughed and said watch your language. she's probably just trying to be cool... i don't know why people act high either, that's annoying as hell.. all you have to do is quiz them on prices/ammounts and they're dumbfounded and just end up saying something like "well i don't do it often..." or... "i got it through a friend for free". i hate the fake hippies who act like they're for peace and shit and really are just as douchey as anyone else. i get called a hippy a lot but im definitely not. i only wear slaps (flip flops), and i always wear a mushroom hemp necklace and everyone says i dress like a hippy.. ( i don't. -.-) the fake stoners are usually ones who smoke here and there and think it's so badass/hardcore they have to brag about it, also the ones who ONLY talk about weed. I'm a proud stoner but i don't go bragging about it and whatnot.
Being a hippy has become popular over the past few years. Mostly among high school age girls. Tie Dye shirts, peace signs in every picture, tapestries and any other generic shit. Most of them have smoked before but are drinkers through and through. Sometimes it's fun to attend big parties full of alcohol and smoke up the fake hippies. Invite them into a small group, roll up a blunt and do some shotguns or the frozen mug trick. If they've been drinking they will be in VERY bad shape.
Why? Because they're attention whores. They're not worth the brain cells we're using to think about them, as far as I'm concerned.

I like to talk about pot. But it interests me and I like to learn about it. I don't talk about it in the sense of how stoned I am though. Unless I am ripped and someone calls me out on it, then of course I will tell them I am high. Well unless its someone who is better off not knowing. Like law enforcement, or other people of authority.
